I had almost forgotten how action-packed these books are!
I really do enjoy how we continue to learn more and more about the characters as the series progresses. Nothing is too in-depth, but I think it is appropriate for a middle grade series; kids want to read about "heroes".
I believe the other two books were better, but this one definitely gave a good amount of information regarding United States politics. It was done in way so as not to bore you while you're reading, which was nice. And, as al ...more

This book is #3 in a series and you CAN read it as a stand-alone book as well :) I have not read the other 2 novels and although it did take me a little while to get oriented as to the backstory, when I did it was superb! I love stories about zombies but this was a take on them that I have never seen! The "Corpses" can take human bodies and continue to be a part of society even though some people know what they are is the basis for the series. The Undertakers are what I considered to be a "rogue

ok, this is a seriously creative writer- two more books in the series (which we don't have!! grrr!!)

Hard to explain. I couldn't put it down and I will certainly read the next one, but the previous two were better.

This was boring. It dragged a lot and only stupid things happened. I'm very disappointed and unsure if I even want to read the next book.
