Ev o lu tion:

1) A change in the gene pool of a population from generation to generation by such processes as mutation, natural selection, and genetic drift;

2) A motion incomplete in itself, but combining with coordinated motions to produce a single action, as in a machine.

Hemp Chatsworth has already figured out how 90% of the Earth's population became what they are. Now he must find out why some of them are evolving into something else. Something more dangerous. With their families poised to grow, the stakes are now higher than ever for our friends. Each new discovery creates the need for a new defense. Hemp has his hands full as some among the zombie masses appear to be utilizing more of their grey matter in a horrifying way. Only brute force and innovation will save Flex Sheridan and his family and friends from the ever-changing zombie scourge. And it's quite possible our small band of heroes might save the world. You should come along ... it might be fun.

The Scabs Trilogy in my rearview mirror, and Dead Hunger long finished, I introduce Emma's Rose: The Cave! It's my new ZOMBIE series.

It has been a while since I delved into the zombie world. I really enjoyed writing the Scabs Series, but something was pulling me . Perhaps they were dead arms, peeling and gray, reaching for flesh. My flesh.

As usual my stories are character driven. Emma's Rose is no exception. I hope you enjoy the whole new cast of characters, and the new adventure, along with the new zombies.

A HUGE thanks to all of you who have read any of my work.

Now ... about me.

Eric A. Shelman was born in 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas. He now lives in Cape Coral, Florida with his wife of thirty years, Linda.

Life is good. But it takes hard work.

Continues to be an amazing, creative and thrilling plot!

Mr. Shelman is one of those rare authors who is perfection at narrating his own books. . . Females, dialects and all!

Evolution, as in the undead are evolving. Volume four of the series finds the professor, Hemp diving deep into his research to discover the latest zombie threat, what that means to himself and his friends, and how to defeat the ever-changing infected. The infected females are getting stronger, both physically and mentally. This new telepathy ability is giving our survivors some unexpected and quite deadly problems to deal with. Gem and Charlie are preparing to bring new life into this crazy world. Everyone fears the potentially dangerous effects that the environment, the offensive mist, or the defensive solutions created by Hemp may have on the fetuses. I’m enjoying the series so far. The characters are interesting, and the action is consistent.

Extraordinarily awesome Siri’s

And extraordinarily awesome zombie apocalyptic series. Just when you thought it was safe to take your gun out and go shoot more zombies they begin to evolve. Follow our group of characters as they work their way through the zombie apocalypse and learn what they can about the zombies and how they’re changing. An extraordinary group of characters with Great back stories and very entertaining personalities. As always in a zombie apocalypse you have to watch out for the zombies and you have to watch out for bad people as well as idiots. Then when you think you have it all figured out something changes. Action pack from beginning to end and you will not be disappointed check it out.

I very much enjoyed following the Dead Hunger Series!!!
Eric A. Shelman gave new meaning to the word Zombies, this 9 book series was Amazing the character's were so easy to bond with. I didnt want book 9 to end, sadly it did. I will miss all the main characters and even some that were not. I so hate this part, u kinda felt like u were made to be apart of the group the way Eric had written this story. Its a must read was a wonderful journey all the way to the last book 9.

Zompoc Turned On It's Ear!!

I thought I had read it all on the zombie apocalypse until I found this series. And, just when you have got a handle on this series, things change again with something new! Literally, never a dull moment! Do not hesitate to start this series. The first book is free on Amazon. You can thank me later.

Great!

A big addition to the ongoing story! The title is quite apt as the adventures take a pretty large turn.

Dead Hunger IV: Evolution (Kindle Edition)

Like zombies 2.5 wasn't enough of a challenge for our family of survivors, Eric Shelman decided to ramp up the excitement/thrill/horror to Zombie 3.0!! Easily the best in the series as we find Flex, Gem, Charlie and Hemp are settling in the small town of Concord. Both Gem and Charlie are pregnant although that hardly slows down our 2 lovable amazons. They are still fiery and feisty and will fight with more vigor and determination because they have more to loose now. Life is good for a short time and that is enough to realize no matter how safe a place may seem reality has a way of biting you in the behind and in this new world things are going to get worse before they get better... much, much worse!! Female Zombies are becoming aware and smarter. To make matters worse, a ravaging horde has SMELLED out one of the last bastions of humanity and is making it's way toward them. It is because of Hemps brilliance that the people of Concord have managed to stay a step ahead of the undead but with this new threat his genius might not be enough to save them if he cannot learn the secret of their EVOLUTION. It is a fight literally to the end of Concord... who will live and who will die will depend on one man's genius and the determination of the survivors to never give up or back down when their back is against the wall. Eric Shelman has taken the Zombie apocalypse to a new level, one that will scare the bejezus out of you and leave you hungry for more.

This is another great instalment for the master of imagery.
I always find getting the balance of reviewing a book and not giving away plot lines.
This follows our main characters travelling to try and interact with other survivors and sharing what they have discovered about the brave new world..
But this is Eric, as you will know if you've read the other books ion the series, he likes things that go bump.
New horrors await our band of family and all those who still breath air.

This one is a slight departure in writing style but still keeps up a good pace, tight writing and a clear vision of where our guys are and where they want to be.
Don't waste time reading reviews - just read the book, it's better written and far more interesting

REALLY??!! As if this wasn't bad enough?? Now there's new life on the horizon but the undead seem to have a few tricks up their stinky little sleeves???? What you ask??? READ IT! I'M NOT TELLING YOU!!! As if the first three weren't amazing, they're just getting more intense, more horrific, more hopeful and certainly a lot more a&% kicking... There is a fierceness to our rockstar crew of corpse killers that was written in such a way that I felt like I was there with them... The best thing about this book is that it's not ending the series, it's setting you up for some incredible relationships and some indescribable fights and battles. DO yourself a favor and read this!!!!

Mr. Shelman's Dead Hunger series is quickly rising up the ranks of my favorite Book Series of all time. Dead Hunger IV: Evolution was another excellent book. At times I felt like it dragged a little, but overall it was a great entry into the series. I love how things keep progressing and there are new twist and turns throughout the story. Great storytelling, looking forward to reading the next chapter in the series.

Really enjoyed this book. It had tons of action and I loved how it wasn't from one persons point of view like the other books were. I liked how he tied them all together. And the freaky evolution of the females were about as crazy as the ratz. I'm anxious to see what is in store for Dave and Serena

Entertaining

Why do I have to write twenty words to review? It was entertaining, frustrating with some edge of your seat scares thrown in.
