This is a fun book that imitates the Diez Perritos song. It starts out with a group of ten mariachis, and one by one they drop out as they get sick or break instruments. The illustrations are very entertaining. Kinders who listened to it were mesmerized, but did not understand some of the vocabulary. I wanted to like this more - I liked the premise of counting down the mariachis. But the rhymes didn't always work and all of the mariachi had the same face, which confused me.
