Anything for You is a short, sweet, touching story, revisiting Shane Garrison and Jen St. James from Because of You, the first book in Jessica Scott’s Coming Home series. If you haven’t already read Because of You, I would strongly encourage you to do so before reading this story, as it’s a continuation of Shane and Jen’s developing relationship.
From the cover:

Sergeant First Class Shane Garrison has spent a year recovering from his combat injuries. A year spent in the arms of the woman of his dreams. But loving Jen comes with a price: every time he touches her, he faces the uncertain fear that loving her might mean losing her forever.

Jen is a breast cancer survivor and with Shane, she’s found a man who loves her despite her scars. But her scars may be too much for their love to survive.

As their love grows, so does the risk to Jen’s life. And Shane must make the toughest decision any man can make to save the woman he loves.
If you’ve read the books in this series, you know that the draw is how honest these stories are. They’re what life is really like for military men and women who have to face the same things we do. It’s not always about blowing up terrorists or saving the world from corrupt leaders… these are real stories about real people making the same life decisions that real people make, and that means that I connect with the characters, every single time.

Anything for You is a very tender story about loving a cancer survivor. Shane’s concerns, his fears that Jen might get sick again one day don’t stop him from loving her, but they are coming between them in one of the most painful ways any couple can imagine. Ms. Scott tells this story in such a way that my heart broke for them both because I could completely feel where they’re coming from. This is an issue that many cancer surviving couples have to deal with, and there’s no right or wrong to it. Just supporting one another, and living and loving with everything in you because the future gives no guarantees of what’s to come. So, while the choices they had to make, and the things they may one day have to face broke my heart, it gave me such hope and so much happiness for them, and that's what matters.

Ms. Scott, thank you so much for writing this story…for all the books in the series, but especially this one. I know what it's like to wonder, "will it come back?" It's not fun, but it's always there, always a possibility, and everyone's stories deserve to be told, especially the "real" ones. This is life. This is love. This is real. So yeah, thank you.

Laura and Trent are up next, and that's going to be one helluva story.

We met Shane Garrison and Jen St. James in Because of You. Shane was a seriously wounded soldier, she a nurse
recovering from breast cancer. They each had scars and heartaches, but found love and healing in each other's arms.

In this short story we revisit Shane and Jen a year later. They are still very much in love, planning on spending their lives together. Jen is thrilled with Shane's recovery, but fearing his inevitable return to active duty. Shane is very content and happy in their relationship , but has a gut wrenching fear that Jen's cancer will reoccur . Her cancer was a very aggressive form, and as every cancer survivor, she dreads those heartbreaking words "the cancer is back". But she is working hard to put it behind her. For Shane it's not that easy.

We are reacquainted with Shane's friend Ike Carponti , always ready with a joke or prank. He has become very adept with his prosthetic hand, and given the OK to return to active duty. He has a small secret fear he's not up to the challenge.

Shane and Jen are challenged to make a decision that will effect the rest of their lives together. Their love for each other is the rock , the decision is made on that rock.

I highly recommend this story for Because of You fans. I equally recommend all Ms. Scott's novels for lovers of Military Romance. I personally have the utmost respect for her career as an Army officer, and her talent as an author.

UGH...complete horseshit. I'm so pissed.

Image result for angry gif

Jen has to compromise her dreams because of Shane's fears, yet she'll be "tough" and deal with her fears so Shane doesn't have to compromise his dreams and live with regrets. SERIOUSLY?!?!?

If it wasn't for Carponti and his annoyingly endearing sense of humor, I may have chucked my kindle out the window.

Even when I read Jessica Scott's debut novel, Because of You, I was blown away by the emotional intensity and rawness she managed to put in words. Anything For You is the much awaited epilogue to that story, as we revisit Shane and Jen, the hero and heroine of Because of You and catch a glimpse of how life is for the couple after the "happily ever after". And while Anything For You is really short, it sure packs a strong emotional punch.

As you see from the blurb Jen is a breast cancer survivor and ever since they got together and talked about their joint future, Shane has read article and research paper one after the other to see how a pregnancy would affect Jen, and seeing that there are no guarantees as to Jen's well-being, he wants to sacrifice the possibility of having biological children.

"Jen wasn’t a random number in a study. She was his heart and soul, and while she was determined to live a normal life and not let the cancer define her, every time they made love, he was aware of the risk."

“I can’t risk it. No matter how much I might want a kid with her, I’m not going to risk her life for some selfish need to feel my baby growing inside her.”

That is the brief summary of the story, and yet Anything For You is so much more. It is full of gut-wrenching fear and anguish over the terror of losing the person you love,

"He leaned up to kiss her fiercely. “I can’t lose you, Jennifer St. James. Not when I just found you.” Tears burned in her eyes at his admission.
“It’s not that simple, Shane.”
“It is. Maybe it’s selfish of me, but I...I can’t live with the risk of getting you pregnant. I couldn’t live with myself if something happened to you because of me.”"

of trembling that one day the cancer will be back, of a love so deep and tender that just reading about it makes your heart swell and feel humbled and touched you got to witness it.

Once again Jessica Scott manages to reach inside me, squeeze my heart until I have trouble swallowing my tears. She just has a way with words, she twists and turns them and makes them bleed with tears and fears and deep, raw feelings. The emotional intensity is paired with such touching tenderness that you will have a hard time blinking back tears.

And what would be a Jessica Scott story without her trademark of humour peppered into the story at even the most inopportune moments and scenes? Lol, of course we don't have to guess as not only does Carponti (a previous character and resident jokester) make an appearance but Jen's girl friend also has a way of seeing things a bit differently than the norm:

“This vasectomy thing is kind of romantic.” Jen raised both eyebrows.
“Oh, I can’t wait to hear this.”
“The man loves you enough to let his balls be sliced open. How do you not see the romance in this?”

"He wrapped his arms around her and held her close. And as she drifted between sleep and waking, she knew that no matter what, Shane would be the man holding her if she got sick again. He would be there for her. And she would do anything for him. Which meant she needed to get him a fresh bag of peas."

Verdict: Despite its shortness Anything For You is an incredibly beautiful, heart-squeezing, emotional read. Jessica Scott does it again, she masterfully weaves emotional rawness and anguish with humour and levity to make the result entertaining and unforgettable, just perfect! Even though it is a very short novella, Anything For You will shake you up and make you feel as if you were tumbled dry. A story I cannot recommend enough, but bring the tissues, you'll need them!

I give Anything For You 5 teary stars!

You know what the worst thing is. Opening a 70 page ebook, thinking it is that long, but no, it was 30 pages. The rest was a preview of another book. Sigh.

Armyman is thinking of a vasectomy. His wife had breast cancer and kids could make it come back. She does want kids. They think about it, and live happily ever after.
January 26, 2013
In this novella, Ms. Scott continues the story of Shane and Jen from “Because of You.” We begin this novella with Shane considering getting a vasectomy because of his fear of losing Jen should she get pregnant and her cancer return in a more aggressive form due to the pregnancy. At the same time that Shane is struggling with his fear and feeling of helplessness at the possibility of losing Jen, Jen is also struggling with her fear of Shane’s complete recovery and potential re-deployment. In this novella, we see Shane and Jen have the serious conversations that couples have, dealing with issues found in any relationship and the emotional struggles individuals face when seeking compromise. However, this novella is not without its lighter parts. Vic Carponti makes a return to provide well-timed comic relief. Additionally, Laura Davila also makes an appearance as Jen’s best friend and anchor as she struggles with her frustration that cancer can still impact her life and fear of losing Shane if he is deployed again.

What I really liked about this novella is its realism. Shane and Jen’s struggles are easily similar to the struggles that couples face from deciding to become parents to issues of continued enlistment in the military and the dangers that possible deployment holds. By continuing Shane and Jen’s story, we see how relationships continue to hold challenges after the proposal and the compromises necessary to keep the relationship strong.

Anything For You A Coming Home Short Story by Jessica Scott
Shane Garrison is back from the war recuperating. His physical therapist is Jennifer St. James who he now lives with. They have a loving caring relationship til he decides he might need to take the future into his own hands, but he does want to discuss it with her.

Hot steamy sex scenes only add to the intensity of their love for one another. She's got fears of him returning to the war and he does also but more about the cancer that may return in her body.
He never gets to bring it up first as she finds out and doesn't understand at all. Luckily Jen talks to her girlfriend and she has other ideas that might solve the problem they are faced with.

Love their meeting place to get away from it all and how they are able to listen to each others fears about the future and how to go about it so neither will get harmed.

They got each others backs....
Liked that there were only a handful of characters to concentrate on because then you can get inside their heads.
An excerpt BITTEN BY DECEIT by Shawntelle Madison is also included.

In this novella we are brought back to Fort Hood, Texas where we first met Shane and Jen in Because of You. Readers who fell in love with these two characters will be delighted in this extra glimpse into their lives as a couple. As with all relationships, there are always a few bumps along the way and Shane and Jen are no exception.

This story is a must read for fans of Jessica Scott. I thoroughly enjoyed revisiting the couple and I know you will too!

I received an ARC of 'Anything For You" by Jessica Scott and loved it. It was so good to revisit Jen and Shane as their relationship and recoveries progress. Their story began in "Because of You" when Shane is seriously injured in Iraq and sent home to recover. Jen is the nurse assigned to his care and although she is recovering from her own struggle with cancer, throws her heart and soul into seeing that Shane pulls through a very difficult transition. In return Shane help heal some serious scars, both mental and physical, that Jen has carried for far too long.

Now one year later, they are still going strong. Each giving love and support to the other as they manage day to day but each having ingrained fears where the other is concerned. When Jen stumbles upon a not so pleasant plan Shane has in the works, it may well be the breaking point in their relationship. They are finally able to discuss and overcome their fears but will this be enough to save them. The result being a most unusual Valentine Day.

We also hear from the loveable joker Carponti as he plays sounding board for Shane's growing fears. There is also a brief visit with Laura Davila and a hint into her ongoing troubles with Capt. Trent Davila in "Back To You" the next installment of the Coming Home Series. We get a sneak peak into the trouble Reza Iaconneli has gotten himself into, also to be a futere release in the series.

Reading "Anything for You" by Jessica Scott was like visiting old friends. I am sure you will enjoy this heartfelt novella as much as I did. Bravo Jessica to another job well done, keep up the good work.

Included is a sneak peak at 'Bitten By Deceit' by Shawntelle Madison, which also peaked my interest.

I am a huge fan of Jessica Scott. You can’t help but feel for each and every one of her characters which makes it easy to become invested in their story. In Anything for You, we get to revisit Shane and Jen who have very much been on my mind since book one.

First off, I was relieved to see Shane and Jen continuing towards their happily ever after. Shane is still recovering and dealing with not being able to return to his men. On top of that he is worried about how his and Jen’s plans for the future will affect all aspects of their lives. Jen continues to work as a nurse at Ft. Hood and is beginning to dread the fact that Shane, once fully recovered, will be returning to war. She’s realistic in that she knows it’s something he must do, but she’s optimistic enough to hope he might get out and move on. In addition we get to see how Carponti is faring and are once again treated to his insatiable wit!

This is a short story but it’s an important one. Shane really opens up in this story and it’s interesting to see and understand his point of view. I admire Jen’s outlook on her recovery and what she wants as they move forward in their relationship, but I’m also happy that she respects Shane’s feelings.

Anyone who read Because of You will be extremely grateful for this check in with Shane and Jen. This short story made me happy, hopeful, and wanting more!

Becca's Books review:

First off i did get this as an ARC from Jessica in return for a honest review. That being said I loved it.. Being a Military wife myself i know that daily fears that Jen is faced with by loving Shane. This is a very short read about 45 pages but it was great. it shows how much Shane has grown in his love for Jen and is willing to do anything he can to keep her with him for the rest of their lifes.

There are some books/novellas that you don't want to end, you want them to keep going because you loved the characters so much and i was like that with Because of you (first book for the coming home series) where we were introduced to Shane and Jen. I loved them from the first page, and wanted more from them. this was a great way to catch up with them.

Way to go Jessica Scott!!!

Back in 2011 I got a chance to read Because of You by Jessica Scott. This is where you first meet Shane Garrison and Jen St. James. I strongly suggest you read that story first, before jumping into this novella. However, it is just a suggestion. Here's why:

In Anything for You Shane and Jen have been together for sometime. Shane is about to do something and he's afraid to tell Jen what he is about to do. I don't know what the man was thinking when he thought it was a good idea not to tell Jen. Fortunately, he has a good buddy who has talked some sense into him. I know this is very vague, but it's a novella. If I say to much, I might tell the whole story. Plus, a lot of the background is in the first book of the Coming Home series.

Overall, it is a quick read (seriously) in which you get to see Shane and Jen work out there relationship and over come there fears of what could happen. It was enjoyable and it's nice to see Jen and Shane again. So, I actually hope you get to read both stories Because of You and Anything for You. So, I leave you today and I hope it's wonderful.

G&J: Anything for You is a short story where we revisit Jen and Shane from the first book Because of You in the Coming Home series.

We really enjoyed catching up with this couple again. If you haven’t read Because of You we highly recommend it, not only before you read this short story but because Jessica Scott is an amazing Author and her Coming Home series is both beautiful and emotional whilst depicting the real and heart-breaking sides of war. This lady really does write from the heart and it shows.

In Because of you, Jen, a cancer survivor, is the nurse assigned to Shane’s recovery process when he returns home injured from the war in Iraq. Both find in each other what they need to heal both body and mind; soul and heart.

When we return to them we find them still in love yet with a tough decision to make over something that will change their lives. Each fears for the other, the possible heartbreak of losing the love of their life from war or returning cancer.

They face the challenge of what if and how one decision could possibly change their lives forever if……..

We both have a tremendous respect for Jessica Scott. Not only as career Army Officer but as an outstanding Author who writes from her heart.

Shane Garrison and Jen St. Clair have traveled a hellacious road to get to where they are today, happy and in love. But with redeployment looming, the only thing that really terrifies Shane is the possibility that Jen becoming pregnant will cause her cancer to come back.

I have never wanted to strangle, shake, strangle again and scream at a man as much as I wanted to with Shane. He makes an incredibly important decision based on his fear of Jen's cancer without talking to her. And when his decision finally comes out, instead of telling Jen how he feels and what their other options are, he shuts down and gets angry because she's hurt.

But what I love about Shane and Jen is how even when they walk away from each other angry, Jen (being the stronger of the two in my opinion) manages to talk Shane through his feelings and fears to come up with a solution that will make both of them happy. It's touching to see such a strong man, who is willing to put his life on the line for those he doesn't know, be crippled by the fear of having anything remotely to do with the love of his life being taken away from him.

If you've read any of the Coming Home series, this is definitely one to pick up.

If you are looking for a sweet, short V-Day read, check out this little gift from Jessica Scott, and celebrate the holiday with Shane and Jen.

All of your favorite characters from BECAUSE OF YOU are back for a sweet little Valentine's Treat. This short has all the elements of your favorite Valentine's chocolates, it's hard on the outside like Shane's smokin hot bod, it's sweet and gooey on the inside, like Jen and how she gets when she is around Shane, and it can be gobbled up in less than an hour...the only difference is that you won't get jiggly thighs from reading ANYTHING FOR YOU.

Jessica writes a realistic account on what would actually happen between a couple if they were put in Shane and Jen's shoes. The ole "when to bring this up" kind of conversation brings about hurt feelings and the "what if" questions for the future. Shane has his reasons for feeling a certain way and he just hopes that Jen will understand and agree with him. But...It might not be as easy as he would like.

I really enjoyed a quick visit with some old friends, and I think you will to! Grab this little V-Day treat up and savor each bite...I mean page!!

I was lucky to be sent a copy of Anything For You from the author with the promise of an honest review. I’m a huge fan of Jessica Scott and loved Shane and Jen from the moment we me them in Because of You.

I loved this short visit with Jen and Shane. I’m one of those readers who loves visiting with favorite characters to see where they currently are in their relationship. With Shane being in the Army and Jen being a breast cancer survivor, I liked seeing how they each were dealing with possible loss of the other. I have to say Shane’s choice kind of made me laugh, while totally understanding Jen’s anger. I also loved we got to see some of my favorite characters from Because of You. I loved Laura, who is Jen’s best friend and Carponti, who is Shane’s best friend. Carponti’s humor kept me laughing anytime he appeared on the page. Visiting with Laura just made me want Trent and Laura’s book even more than I already did.

Anything For You is the perfect read for anyone who loved Because of You, and I can’t wait for the next book from Jessica Scott.

Anything for You was a lovely little revisit of Shane and Jen. Readers originally met them in Because of You. It has been some time since Shane met and fell in love with Jen. They are living together and starting to experience some of the day to day problems couple’s experience. Shane’s lack of smooth relationship knowledge adds some tension to the new relationship.

I loved Jen and Shane from the moment they walked onto the pages of Because of You. Getting to read how their relationship has progressed and how they react to each other’s individual situations was nice. The relationship is still fairly new and they are learning each other. The situations they are dealing with are very real and something any couple could encounter.

I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC copy of this story (Thanks Jess!)…Anything for You is a heartwarming follow-up novella to Jessica Scott's Because of You. In it we catch up with Shane & Jen as they come to terms with their individual fears of losing the other. With appearances by Vic Carponti & Laura Davila (some of my favorite characters from Because of You) Jessica gives a touch of the humor that I love in her writing. I can’t wait to see what Jessica’s got planned next for our “Coming Home crew” in her next book Back to You.

Awww....it was so wonderful to catch up with Shane and Jen. I love reading romance. But often times, things fall together in a much too predictable way. Jessica does not fall into that easy peasy ending. But its a happy wonderful ending none the less. I am not sure how a man would like reading it. haha But it was real life like characters handling real life feelings, worries and problems. Together. Romance, hotsy totsy sex (of course, its Shane!!) friends and love love love....For a short story, it is wonderful. Well done.

Okay for starters It really made me sad the feeling of Shane losing Jen because of her previous illness. As for Jen I understand her for wanting to have a kids on her own but there are huge possibilities it will take her own life for pursuing that. As for Shane I know that scares the hell out of him too knowing it could kill her eventually.

I was hoping Jessica will write another story more of Jen and Shane. I want their story to continue in short I wanted more of them.

Thank you Jessica you made an amazing story between Shane and Jen.

Those of us who fell in love with Shane and Jen in Jessica's Because of You will be so pleased for this little glimpse at Shane and Jen's Happily Ever After.

This short story showcases all the humor we have come to expect out of Jessica Scott characters, and it deals with the emotions one has when you love someone.

There is a satisfying ending, and I hope with all my heart we get to see Jen use her Valentine's gift someday.

If you love Shane and Jen read this short story!

I love reading novellas. They’re perfect for a quick late night read or a ‘in between’ book when you’re not quite ready to dig into another novel. They can be stand alone short stories or introductions to series, but I think my favorite type of novella is one that lets readers revisit characters that they have already been introduced to. That’s exactly what Jessica Scott treats readers to in Anything for You.

Jen and Shane were featured in the first book in Scott’s Coming Home series, Because of You. I loved this couple. Because of You was an intense read and even painful at times, but it was real and honest. Even though they still had a lot to overcome by the end, there still was hope that their love would win out. Revisiting them in Anything for You was just as real. They still had struggles to overcome and the fears that they each had in the first book didn’t just melt away because of their love for each other. The novella stayed just as true to the characters as their book did and I loved that.

Reading Anything for You made me want to start reading the series all over again. A few of the supporting characters from the series made appearances, but since this was just a novella the main focus was on Jen and Shane. That was enough though. As short as this story was, a lot was packed into those pages. If you haven’t started this series yet, you need to pick it up. It’s a great glimpse into not only military life but relationships in general. I’ve said before that there’s no fluff or sugar coating to this series, it’s intense and real. There are no easy answers, no perfect solutions and no guarantees, just enough love and respect between two people to take a chance and sometimes that’s all you need.

It’s always wonderful to re-visit some of your favourite characters, and this novella from Jessica Scott allows us to catch up with Shane & Jen from her earlier work, Because of You.

Sergeant First Class Shane Garrison has spent a year recovering from his combat injuries. A year spent in the arms of the woman of his dreams. But loving Jen comes with a price: every time he touches her, he faces the uncertain fear that he might kill her.

Jen is a survivor and with Shane, she’s found a man who loves her despite her scars. But her scars may be too much for their love to survive.

As their love grows, so does the risk to Jen’s life. And Shane must make the toughest decision any man can make to save the woman he loves.

Something that I love about Jessica Scott’s books is that her characters are real, flawed, imperfect human beings with issues and the rest of it. They’re not Stepford-style automatons who sail through without a scratch.

I’m not going to write a spoiler-ish review of this, one, because it's not in general release yet and two, even if it was, I’d let you visit with them on your own.

What I will say, however, is that I really enjoyed this story, as I did its predecessor, Because of You. You can see that the fears that Shane in particular is wrestling with are valid, and Jen’s reaction to the situation is real. The chemistry between Shane and Jen is amazing, too.

If you haven’t read Because of You, I highly recommend you get your hands on a copy.

My rating: 4.5 out of 5

Note: I was lucky enough to be given a copy of this eARC by the author. A big thanks to Jessica Scott for giving me the opportunity to read it.

A special treat for Shane & Jen Fans!

After reading Because of You, Shane and Jen immediately became one of my favorite couples. I craved to read about them again. Set around their first Valentine's Day together, Anything for You is a continuation of their story, and what a special treat it is!

Although short, Anything for You is every bit satisfying, romantic, and, well, so very Shane and Jen! I love that this story goes beyond being light and fluffy. These two deal with some pretty heavy issues as they build a life together. Mostly, its about them facing their biggest fears as a couple, and learning to work as a team, since they are very much in love and together now. In the midst of all the seriousness, a little amusement is thrown in, too. I had to giggle at some of Carponti's remarks as Shane tries to discuss a very difficult subject with him.

When I reached the end, I couldn't help but go back and read it again. Anything for You has the right combination of tension and romance for a short story. Thank you, Jessica Scott, for giving your fans more from this couple. I hope Shane and Jen whisper in your ear again so that we can revisit them in the future. In the meantime, I'm very much looking forward to see how the loose ends are tied up with Laura and Trent in Back to You.

So for fans of the Coming Home series, this is a must read!

I’m going to start this off by saying – You cannot read this without reading Because of You. Please don’t try it… really… don’t do it.

Ok now that the warning is out there I get to gush over getting to see two characters I fell in love with in Because of You again. I adored their initial romance and knowing that the love they share is still going strong made me extremely happy.

Do they still have problems? YES

Do they truly love one another? YES

Do I want to see more of this amazing pair? OH DEAR GOD YES

Did I sniffle a bit at the obstacles thrown in their way? Oh yeah… Jessica made me a bit weepy.

Jen is a breast cancer survivor which due to her age and the type she is at a high risk for a recurrence. While she wants to have everything with Shane this may just not be a good idea with this history. This is a story of two people who truly know what it means to love and are willing to make compromises even if they aren’t really able to sit down and discuss them in a timely fashion. I adored the love that shows through everything even when things look bleak.

I can’t really say more than that other than read Because of You so that you get the entire picture of the hell they both have been through to get a love that most people only dream of.

Thanks to Jessica for sending me a copy of this without the guarantee of a review. I adored this …

"Anything for You" is a continuation of SFC Shane Garrison's and Jen's story which began with "Because of You". However, this could be read as a stand alone, which I have. I now will be purchasing "Because of You" and "Until There Was You" (books 1 & 2 in the Coming Home Series).

We know from the synopsis that Jen is a breast cancer survivor and that Shane is also a survivor. Both do not want their past to define their future. However, they both fear the possibility of losing the other. They are at the start of the journey of their new life, filled with new possibilities and those possibilities may be the end of them.

Jessica Scott writes characters that are believable and tug at your heart. Their struggle is one that many couples face and their views on a particular topic (I don't want to provide you with spoilers, so we'll leave it at that) was extremely refreshing! Also it resonated with me on a personal level! Though our struggles are not similar to those of Shane or Jen, the end result are the same.

A great, easy read that makes you want to get the next book in the series, or if you're like me, get the previous to and start reading the series!!

Review also posted on Book Lovin' Mamas

Wanna know what happened to Shane Garrison and Jen from "Because of You", well I definitely wanted to know and I am so happy that Jessica Scott wrote this short story of them. Shane and Jen touched my heart the minute I read them in "Because of You".

"Anything for You" continues their story and how their relationship is growing. They are dealing with problems any couple would have and how those problems may break them apart or make them grow stronger.

Shane has a choice to be made in this book and it may break Jen's heart, but he is willing to do anything to keep her forever, even if that means taking away something that she wants most.
Jen is also dealing with her own issues and she is having to make her own decisions, even if it means not seeing Shane for awhile.

This short story made me realize even more how I love this couple and how they deserve a happily ever after.

I recommend this short story to everyone who loved Shane and Jen and wants to know what happens after "Because of You".
Fair warning though, you may want tissues while reading it. It may be short, but Jessica manages to make me cry even with this one.
