If this book is not the first of a series, I'm going to be seriously disappointed. Ms. Bain took me along for a fantastic ride and there just have to be more adventures for a colorful cast of characters that will keep you laughing and guessing right up to the last page. The chemistry between Trubleh and Mace sparkles and their families and friends are both funny and endearing. If you enjoy mystery, comedy and romance, you are going to love this book. Wonderful book to sit back with and just enjoy. The mystery is suspenseful and keeps you wondering to the very end. The characters of Trubleh, her family and friends are delightful and will keep as entertained as any characters can. My favorite book of this author so far and I'm waiting for more to come.

This book was definitely different from Kathryn's usual suspense books but she pulled it off.
I loved all the quirky characters and how they interacted.
There was enough suspense to keep you going.
Thanks for the opportunity to read this book and I am giving my honest opinion.

This book is quite the fun read. If you love mysteries with humor, colorful characters, and a little romance, then you'll be sure to enjoy this one. From the first page I was hooked. Be sure to have time on your side, as I'm sure you'll not be able to stop reading until you've reached the end.
