4 Smitten with Hunter Stars!

Smitten is the sequel to Crush. If you haven’t read Crush, there will be some storyline spoilers for book 1 in this review.

Cami is starting her first year of college as a music major. She is still coping with the loss of Clay, but she has Hunter. She is over eighteen now, and there is noting stopping them from being together. Cami is meeting Hunter’s family for the first time and everything is amazing, until he’s called for another job. Hunter is an undercover cop. T

I like Cami and Dylan/Hunter, but this is not the story for them. The plot and series of events were majorly down played to the point where if not for the lies and continue reminders, I'd think it's a completely different story.

I think this undercover story worked for 'Crush', but it wasn't as appealing for 'Smitten'. I found the premise to be exciting, but the delivery was too teen drama. It was Snow White acting as the evil witch ... not very convincing at all!!!

We were barely engaged with the

o looks like she did it again!
took a perfectly amazing book and gave it a sequel!!
Crush had closure
it dint need a sequel
'Finding Chase' RUINED ' Chasing Nikki' for me
i hope the pattern does not repeat itself with 'Smitten'

having said that, the blurb looks interesting!! mighty interesting!
so against my better judgement, im looking forward to the release date :p

Yes I am a total perv, I really wanted to see a few more steamy scenes between Hunter and Cami now that she is of age and in college. Oh well, this is still a great follow up book to Crush. Do not read this review if you haven't read Crush-contains spoilers.

Our poor Hunter just can't catch a break, after all of the high school drama he and Cami went through, they were just settling into a nice boring meeting the parents routine. Then Hunter gets the call he dreads and has to go back undercover t

LOVED this book! The female lead was amazing. Cami was strong, smart, sweet, funny, just an all together great girl. She wasnt whiney like most females in books. She wasnt afraid to speak her mind. Showed that communication in a relationship is important.
Hunter/Dylan...yum. Wanted him to myself. He showed what it was to be a man in love and who would do anythng for her! I wish there was going to be a book 3?!?!?! I doubt it but I am wanting to see where the who lead. I am picturing there will be

Good YA book!

Smitten is the sequel to Crush and we get a little more undercover cop hotness of Hunter/Dylan.

Cami is attending college and now that she is 18 years old she can finally be in a relationship with Hunter. Only now another undercover job is keeping them apart. When Hunter can't take being apart from Cami anymore he contacts her and puts her smack in the middle of his investigation. When the guy Hunter is investigating, Ripper, catches them together he has to introduce Cami as his sis

*Sighs* oh Hunter (Dylan) the things you do to me, "I'm finally out of that damn sling, and my muscles are feeling good after therapy. I figured you and I could celebrate together. What do you think? Maybe cuddle on the couch and watch a movie?" He paused, pulling away to look at me. "Or we could skip the movie and make out instead." You can tell that Hunter loves his girl and would/will do anything to be with her, "Don't you even try to take the blame! This is my fault. I knew better than to as ...more

"Smitten the sequel to Crush was definitely worth the wait! The way that Lacey Weatherford is able to capture the love between Hunter and Cami is magical. A true love story doesn't have to resolve around the sex, true love is the tenderness and endearing actions that you do daily. No wonder Lacey has been named The Queen of Hearts!" I really enjoy how the author was able to basically pick the story up almost right where Crush finished off. I loved the interactions between Hunter/Dylan, Cami and ...more

Im not sure if i liked this better than Crush, but then im not sure if i liked Crush better than this one? they both really were very good reads!

What i liked about this book:
✓ That Hunter/Dylan and Cami's love never went away. you always knew it was there and didn't have any doubts that there feelings were going.
✓ Hunter/Dylan's protectiveness over Cami at all times! Even in front of Ripper he couldn't contain himself from protecting her.
✓ The way this story was put! i loved how it was another u

I have been dying to get my hands on this book since I finished Crush and it absolutely did not disappoint! Smitten picks up with Cami enrolled as a student at the University of Arizona in Tucson and with Hunter/ Dylan back on the police force with the Tucson PD. Hunter is taking Cami to meet his family and she is a ball of nerves which ultimately leads to a really funny moment involving the two of them and a pool. As they are getting ready to enjoy their evening, Hunter and Chris (Hunter’s brot ...more

"Love does crazy things, doesn't it? It can step in and change people's live completely."

This one was a cute continuation of Cami and Dylan's story.
I liked seeing their lives after the last story and how neither of them were compromising who they were to be together. A lot of things were brought up again - like the age gap and the risky job situation - and Cami also had to come to terms with what happened to her in the last book.

Lots of good stuff and totally worth the read. I'm looking forward

Oh, I had so much fun with this book! I laughed and cringed along with the characters at the embarrassing moments, sighed and swooned over the many, many, MANY romantic scenes while catching my breath and holding onto my metaphorical hat at the perils Cami and Hunter face during their second adventure.

Hunter is sent undercover with a dangerous car thief and suspected murderer who goes by the inauspicious name of 'Ripper' at the beginning of Smitten. He does his best to keep Cami out of his work,

I'm shallow...although I did love book 1, I admit I also love the covers which was the reason I bought the first book...yep, no shame in admitting that. However, I do also love Hunter/Dylan and Cami. This book picks up with Cami in college and Dylan being assigned at the last minute to a new undercover case. They're in love and she is getting ready to meet the family when things just don't go the way they expected. With no warning, he is off with a "new" girlfriend and no contact allowed between ...more

This is the sequel to crush. You need to read crush first to get the full reading experience. Smitten starts out where crush left off. Cami and Dylan (aka hunter) are still together. A few months have past since the clay disaster. Cami has entered college and Dylan has been reinstated on the force. Dylan has been put on an undercover assignment trying to find the murderer of Manny, a known dealer in a car theft ring. Dylan's contact is the suspects sister Roberta. Dylan is to pretend to be rober ...more

I seriously can't get enough of this series!

Cami & Hunter are still so sweet together. I liked the way they tease each other ;)

Oh and I loooooove Russ!! :D He's so funny. I hope he will get some happiness too.

I liked the plot a lot. I actually made me think of Fast&Furious! Which, in my opinion, is never bad ;)

I would have given this book 5 stars, if the ending didn't bothered me a little. For me it felt a little too rushed.

SOOOOO BORING!!! I hate giving negative reviews but I was honestly disappointed with this book. There was no action and no actual drama (other than what was in their heads). The whole goody two shoes thing got old and fast! I wonder if this author has actually ever held a conversation with a police officer or an eighteen year old girl because the dialogue was insanely unreal. I liked the first book okay but seriously wish I hadn't wasted the time on this one.

Bored stiff - glad its finished

Aggggh I was so looking forward to this book. I found hunter to be a real wet lettuce , in fact I can't even be bothered to write a long review, so in a few words

Luke warm, pasty grey, neutral romance.

It seems every one else loved this book so may be its just me,

If you are thinking this follow up book will be all hearts and flowers, please think again. Yes, Dylan (aka Hunter Wilder) and Cami are still in love and they are still together. But Hunter Wilder is going back undercover and he has to end all contact with Cami until the assignment is over.

Hunter has all new things on assignment - new muscle car and a hot new girlfriend, Roberta. Even though Roberta knows Hunter is undercover she wants more than a fantasy relationship with him. Hunter is dating

I'm too smitten with this book!
Love, family, action, mystery drama, suspense and intensity - the fire just keeps burning for Cami and Hunter.

Smitten kicks off a few months from where the first book Crush ends up. But the intensity and tension between Cami and Dylan is by far more palpable here, add up to this is the additional sense of suspense and action to Hunter's new mission.

He was set to be an undercover for a car thief suspected for murder.
But with one careless mistake, he unintentionally
