Along with the Massachusetts General Handbook of Clinical Procedures and Morgan and Mikhail's Clinical Anesthesiology, this book went into my jump bag when I went to Iraq. This is a concise summary of the knowledge necessary to safely evaluate and manage approximately 150 disease processes and comorbidities. Along with Crisis Management in Anesthesia, it is the first book I recommend my students buy after graduation.
