Bill Harvey's book does a wonderful job of explaining the concept of higher consciousness in everyday terms. Some part of this book will speak to you, some part of this book will give you that moment of clarity. By using computing metaphors and clear language the author has written in a way that speaks to almost everyone about how they can use higher consciousness in their everyday lives. It gave me a new way to look at things.

I received this book from a Goodreads giveaway. Thank You!

I will say that I'm probably not the best person to give this book to since I'm not a Yoga-doing, new-age, hippy-dippy type. Not trying to be offensive, just honest. I felt there were some very good points, the need for quiet time (way too much noise pollution in our society) being one. Im not sure about the thinking things through part, because at times it felt like the author was saying to not think but to observe an inner dialogue or conversation going on inside you and once that conversation was done then act. Felt like one could get stuck observing and not get anything done. Some of the exercises were good and worth the effort to make a part of our ...more

Shelves: firstreads
I received a free copy of this book through the goodreads, firstreads Giveaway. Unfortunately I chose not read this entire book. I kept forcing myself to read until about half way through and decided I did not want to finish it. I felt like I was reading personal notes written by someone on their thoughts on random topics. I did not see any meaningful direction or benefit to what I was reading and therefore stopped reading it. I'm sorry I cannot give this a favorable review, it simply did not ...more
