I had a good life… a safe life…a quiet life…
I had a place to live and food to eat and a bed to sleep in…
Books to read, paper to draw on and a friend who didn't mind when I wouldn't answer questions…
I didn't realize I also had a hole in my heart and a void in my soul…
Until I met Jack…
He ran headlong into my walls and broke through them, crumbling them to the ground, se

Can be a 5 star easily if I wanted a perfectly drama free clean read. But I don't. Now, I'm going to rate this for what it's worth to me keeping in mind like I said, extremely clean read. This is a family of eight, all boys. And a young girl who has a secret that was just awful. Their second oldest son forms a friendly relationship with her that eventually turns into more. This would be perfect for someone who wants a straight going story like (Leave it to beaver show) the Cleavers. This family ...more

This is one of the best books I have ever read. It captured my attention from page 1 and could not stop reading until it was done. And I was, I was ready to over and reread it. The only thing I had an issue with was the characters talking about other people without giving you any information who they were talking about. It's was a little frustrating but it was still a fantastic book. I can't wait for the next one. :) ...more

Jack and Emily. Emily and Jack. Crumbling Walls by Laura Strandt is the first in a series of YA romance books. I didn't love this book, but I did like it. The book kicks off really well with two entertaining personalities. Right from the start you can see a truly sizzling chemistry that never fizzles out. A few typos, but overall, this a ...more

I've been on a book slump lately. I started and dropped 3 books not long after starting--this was one of them. I was looking forward to reading this book. I thought it sounded interesting, and like a pretty good read. However, once I got to page 89, it was just not good enough to continue.
I had 2 main problems with this book.
1. The age of the characters. I was VERY confused with the age of the characters. In the beginning of the book they mention that the characters are around 15 years old. Late

Very interesting book. I am definitely going to be looking out for the next book in the series.
Sad, but so joyful at the same time. I loved it, and I love the Callaghan family.
