I was totally not expecting Lindy to get her own book! I remember her being mentioned as the the "pack-whore" a couple of times in previous books (and how can I forget that showdown w/ Candace in book one). Didn't really scream heroine material to me, but this book was pretty good, although a little corny at times.
So we have Lindy, who as I mentioned is the "pack-whore," but really she just wants to settle down with a mate and feel loved, so she took the crumbs of affection wherever she could get them from. It didn't help that her mother was leading the same life as her. So after some humiliation (which got me rooting for her) Lindy decides that she doesn't want to be the "toy" men would sleep with to scratch an itch, but not date. She cleans out her closest and starts getting involved in the Pack.
I like that she decided to change her life for herself and not for a man. I really wish romance authors would see their womanizing, "playboy" heros through the same lens. Double standards, eh.
The hero, Crimson, is half fae/half wolf and total hottie. He was the typical Butler hero: alpha, growly, and super protective. One thing I love about Butler's heros is that they're not assholes. As soon as they meet the heroine, teddy bear mode is activated.
The rest of the novel is similar to the other books in this series, with the predictable kidnapping and evil people after them plot. But it was an enjoyable, light read that you can be sure will leave you with a smile on your face.

Fairy Tale Romance!
The Author gifted me this book for an honest review.
R.E. Butler has done it again! She has managed to put another mix into the pack, but again for the better.
Wulfen is a mix of wolf and fairy and Crimson has white wings like an angel.
Lindy's angel has swooped in to the rescue and what an Angel! Only an Angel can love her the way he does after the past she has lived.
Crimson's Wolf is a bad boy and the Fairy is a gentleman, what a combination to behold!
This s a true Fairy Tale in the style of R.E. Butler and what could be better? Another one and I can't wait!

***** LOVED THIS BOOK AND R.E.BUTLER IS SUCH A GREAT WRITER AND THE DETAILS SHE WRITES IN HER STORIES MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR REALLY THERE..
I loved this book it keep you going from the very first page. I was unable to put the book down for a minute. I love the way R.E. Butler describes everything that's is going on around them. I was able to visualize being there with them. I highly recommend this book and the series to everyone that enjoy Wolves, Fairies and other types of paranormal characters and the two different realms the modern and Fae's. Learning the different traditions of both worlds. Not only was the romance amazing and being able to find your truemate for life. It was romantic and erotic at the same time.
Lindy who was brought up a certain way she only knew from her mother wanting and doing whatever she need to do to find her truemate wanting the mating and the family of her own. Giving Lindy a bad reputation with her pack. The emotions you feel for her knowing that people label to harshly and making her feel unworthy of herself and society. That Lindy's strength. no matter what it took after being humiliated in front of pack members that she wanted to change no matter the cost to be a person she can be proud of herself and be able to hold her head up high. Being able to start regaining members of the Packs respect again.
Crimson, whose mother wanted him mated already would send woman after woman to his bed, so that he would finally find his mate. After he has had enough of his mom's antics and finally wanting to find his truemate he cast the Truemate spell that brought him to Lindy who at the time was in a life and death situation. Crimson is a true hero and has so much respect from the old ways, he was not only a gentlemen and knows exactly how to treat his truemate, but he made sacrifices for Lindy to make them have the perfect life together.
You will fall in love with them and not only is there romance, but you have action, suspense that will keep you reading and not wanting to put it down from the first page to the last. Thank you R.E. Butler for an amazing story that you can feel the emotion and feel like you are part of our world that you have written. I can't wait for the next book...

Lindy is happy for the first time in years when she is rescued by Crimson Atarn and spirited away to the realm but someone from Crimson’s past has set their sights on Lindy in this captivating paranormal romance.
This fast paced and smooth flowing plot captivates readers from the very beginning with suspense, excitement and romance. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Lindy realizes that the way she has been going about finding a mate has not only made her unhappy but has alienated her from her pack and just as she’s making progress with her life changes – she gets her wish as a sexy wulfen male steps in to save her life. Crimson is half fairy and half wolf and lives in the fairy realm so even though he knows he’s found his truemate - the relationship is in no way a sure thing.
The characters are strong and compelling and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning and along with the well written scenes and well orchestrated suspense and action draw the reader in and ensure that the reader can’t put the story down until they have read every last word. Lots of danger and excitement in both realms keeps Lindy and Crimson on their toes as Lindy’s life is threatened by a jealous rival in the fairy realm and by a jerk face in hers. But the heroine is no wishy washy female and her mate is one tough wolf who will do what it takes to protect her and to make her happy.
I couldn’t help but fall for this couple as their romance progressed towards their happily ever after and as usual R E Butler’s fascinating worlds always bewitch me with her intriguing characters, interesting and surprising elements and unexpected twists that keep me on my toes.

I love that Lyndy is already getting her act together when she meets Crimson. This story line could have ended up just being another 'rescue the damsel' book but it is so much more than that. It is about redemption, acceptance, loyalty, courage under adversity and above all else, the power of love to uplift people.
Lyndy is so darned brave it made me cry and hold my breath to see what would happen next. I couldn't put the book down and read it all in one sitting staying up way too late! Crimson is now one of my favorite heroes and Lyndy is a fitting mate for him.
This is one of the best Butler books I've read and I was privileged to be given a copy and I promised to post an honest review which I have done as well as I can. I had actually already pre-ordered this book a while ago and was looking forward to being able to read it, so being picked to read an advance copy totally made my week! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

R.E. Butler’s book has changed the way I see the typical shifter and Fae! In a world where strife comes in many directions, her characters have strength and dynamics that draw the reader in. Lindy and Crimson are compelling and loveable, making the reader care for their wellbeing. From start to finish I didn’t want to put this one down, (and was so aggravated when I had to, darn real life anyway!) and pulled a gambit of emotions from me: anger, giddiness, even spontaneous laughter! If you’re looking for something that isn’t along the same lines as most shifter stories, I would highly suggest this one!

Pretty standard stuff. There are a few places, including the epilogue, which are from the point of view of the heroine of book #1. That struck me as odd, but that might be because I haven't read any of the other books.

I think this is probably my favourite book of the whole series. Even though i love the fact that all the central characters play a part in every book so that we stay connected to them, I enjoyed the fact that we got to see more of the Fae realm in this book. We saw a little of it in Logan & Jenna's story, but as Jenna was deemed `lower class' we only got to see the part of the realm that she inhabited. This time we got to see the world that Crimson lives in and it was enchanting. Not only that but we were introduced to the deviants that lived behind the mountain (exception being the brownies of course). I didn't think I was going to like Lindy much, especially after the previous introductions we'd had to her, but she turned out to be a surprise, and her and Crimson were ideal together. I loved the chemistry they had and how gallant he was towards her. You could see he really cherished her and what they had together. He was such a noble gentleman, but he didn't mess around when someone messed with his mate. NO ONE wanted to upset this big bad alpha. I really hope there's another book in there somewhere because I will be sad when this series ends

I like how this played out and ended.
Lindy is one of the women who I have mentioned before that is treated rudely and like a sex toy by the males of the pack. She has allowed this to happen though but wakes up one morning with a horrible male in her bed and decides to take steps to change herself.
I felt too little time had passed for her life to have changed enough.
Crimson is a Fae Wulfen and after his mother sets up another woman in his bed he spells for his truemate. Luckily this takes him straight to Lindy when she has been caught in a trap.
I really enjoyed this story and how Lindy was totally honest with Crimson about her past.
We have problems with another woman on Crimson’s side in this story and Lindy does have a small problem with a pack male.
Though Cadence has improved during this series I still found her lacking as an alpha female as she has not invested herself in all the female members of the pack due to earlier treatment. She is the ALPHA FEMALE and ALL the females in the pack are supposed to be her concern. Their treatment from the males should not have been allowed to continue.

Another enjoyable read!
I found this book to be another enjoyable read. I felt the author did I great job introducing our hero to her readers. So many new and interesting characters added to this series. Even though the heroine was in previous books and not a desirable character, I enjoyed the changes that the she went through to better herself. The story had a lot of action in both realms, with some great sexy scenes. The ending was different compared to all the other books in the series. Different is not bad, I felt it was a great possible ending to the series. I'll have to look into it but I'm really hoping this is not the end to these characters.

Great ending for the series
As an avid reader of the works of RE Butler, it's been a while since I read this series, and am so glad that I revisited it. Charming characters, love in the truest sense, a series worth reading over and over.

Really enjoyed...
This entire series! Paranormal stories, especially ones with multiple kinds, are very exciting. This series has so much family/ pack involved that it kept it exciting. Great writing!

This was a well written likeable series. The characters were developed with a strong attachment to the storylines, and the action, romance, fun was worth the read.

I loved this story! Crimson is super hot and Lindy is super sweet. I like how she was a person that made mistakes in her life, but got to change.

fae and wolf.....yum
I love the glimpses we get into the fae realm. Crimson as a wulfen is the perfect addition to this series. I have fallen in love with all these characters and am sad to say goodbye. Thank you for entertaining us so well RE Butler.

I loved loved Lindy and the Wulfen. I thought it was great that Lindy got her mate.
It was very sweet, romantic and very hot with Crimson being all alpha male. I can't wait for more from this series.

What can I say that I haven't already I loved it!!
I was so happy to see that Lindy took a look at the person she was and decided to change because she did not like the way her life was, what made it even better was she did it for herself and started that change before Crimson, man what to say about Crimson HOTT!!! I loved him the way he comes into Lindy's life and the way he takes care of her was so sweet, I felt sorry for Crimson he had a good life in the fae world but his wolf needed more it was sad that he had to keep pushing that part of him to the back of his mind and not having another wulfen to guide him he didn't really understand what he was missing with a pack till he had one, it was great to have Jason and the rest treat him like he has always belonged but with Jason and Cades you really don't expect less they are great leaders and Cades really showed that in this part of the series R.E Butler is an amazing writer and I'm so glad I have the chance to lose myself in her world I always get swept away and can't put it down till the end.

I am giving an honest review of this book for the author and originally for We Love Kink(dot)com. This book is book 7 of this series by author R.E Butler.
Lindy was following in her mothers foot steps looking for her pack mate but after being humiliated and called a bicycle of the wolf pack she decided to change her ways for the better. Crimson was a top warrior in the Fae realm and was tired of his mother sending women to his bed. He wanted his true mate and decided to cast a spell to find her.
This story line was great and so was the interaction with the characters. Everything meshed in this book from start to finish. I felt sorry for Lindy when she was disgraced by the male pack members but it did get her to change herself for the better.
After reading this book I must say it made me want to get the other 6 books for my book collection. Any paranormal romance book lover would love to add this to their collection.

I have already said that i am an addict of the wolf's mate series and once more R.e didn't let me down.
The new book will take you from cover to cover from Allen to Fae Land in an amazing trip.
We get to know Lindy and of course Crimson and we get to take a look in both realms andof course
see whats going on with the pack.
Lindy decides to take a turn in her life and become the wolf and person she can be.
Crimson...yeap god drooling hotness in feathers!

I think this is a much needed book. While reading is a great way to escape, it should also enrich your life. This book, paranormal fiction, is a reminder of that. Lindy is at a point in her life where she does not like the person she has become or the lifestyle is she living. So she makes changes, not to make someone else happy but for herself. I like that the book shows that it is a process and happens slowly. That even if others do not accept the change in you, it only matters that you do. Crimson is ready to find his mate, does not judge Lindy on her past but on the person she is. Together they work through the difficulties of both their homes and find a place where they feel comfortable. This book contained romance, action and mystery. It kept my interest throughout the story.

Once again R.E Butler has created a story full of excitement, suspense, and hot naked shifters... but this time we have one with wings :D
Lindy had developed a reputation for herself since the first book, and not a good one. But R.E Butler really managed to capture her kind natured, loving side that she had hidden so well in the previous books of the series and bring it out for us all to see.
Crimson, a wulfen, captured my heart straight away. He and the red eyed, white wolf within him now one of my favourite members of the pack.
I can't wait for more from this series, and more from R.E Butler in general to be honest. I would recommend her book to everyone and anyone. If you love a steamy romance with a twist of fantasy and excitement, then this author is the one for you.
