Most American's go to Paris, France to vacay. They enjoy the sights, the cuisine, the art and much more. Jessica Booker however is here on a mission... A Top Secret mission for the CIA.

 photo 1cca81e2-431a-4043-8e10-e4850a39ce19_zps278cc7b0.jpg

When the book starts Jessica, under the cover name of Lori is at a meet spot to connect with her handler. The handler will be providing the info needed for her mission. Color her surprised when she realizes her handler is Agent Sims. Sims was her CIA training instructor, not to mention the man is sexy as all hell. Regardless this attraction she feels for him is something she does not need right now.

“Hi, Lori,” a man says, using my new cover name as he approaches the bar. My heart
quickens when I recognize the low raspy voice.
“Sims.” His real name jumps out of my mouth before I can stop it.

 photo d14096fd-2336-45f4-9027-f6edd43737fb_zps47d6e1ec.jpg

She screws up right out of the batting cage by calling him by his real name. That is a BIG no no while out in the field..it could lead to disaster. After a few failed attempts to capture his attention on a more intimate level the meeting is wrapped up and he's gone. First she takes a small detour to the room of an obviously inebriated hottie from the bar. Her already horny mood from the run in with agent Sims is sky rocketing.

She quickly reasons that the needs agent Sims failed to meet can be fulfilled by the hottie instead. Yet knowing she needs to focus on the mission at hand leads her to regretfully stop the magic before it happens. The drunken hottie doesn't seem to mind though as he is now passed out on bed.

Arriving at her room, Jessica boots up her computer, accesses her email and punches in the codes that reveal her job. Once she has her missions target she is off to meet the man who holds the key to said mission. Geoffry Pinot, a french businessman.

 photo 19a7442e-181c-481b-8424-13192b9d2b17_zpsdff4fad8.jpg photo dc4cd5a3-37ae-4b62-8e73-112382d89b98_zps2e54ef3e.jpg

Quick thinking has her in his apartment and sitting on his couch in no time. THAT'S when things begin to really heat up. Jessica uses her femininity and wanton ways to get Geoffrey relaxed. Well maybe relaxed is the wrong word.. She actually gets him all wound up.

I inch closer to him.
“Thank you so much for your help, Mr. Pinot. Geoffrey.”
I put my hand on his thigh and gently squeeze. His thigh is rock hard. He works out. I’m going to enjoy this.
“I guess you might say, I owe you.”
He’s still halfway hard, and when I bite my lower lip, his mouth opens and he takes in a breath. I sit up, arching my back to expose my chest for him to get a better look at the goods. The lump in his pants jumps.

Some small connection passes between the two. The chemistry is intense... Jessica can see the hope for more in his eyes. But she can't give him more. Not with her job.

 photo tumblr_mhnc2wuKlq1qc7rh3o1_500_zps23b2076d.jpg

No harm no foul...
She was there to do one thing, so she walked away and denied the connection. Never the less the job is done plus she managed to get in some satisfaction courteous of the sexy french businessman.

When her second mission brings her face to face with Geoffrey and the front end of his gun.. The tension escalates as things go from bad to extremely bad.

'Geoffrey is on the other side of the office in a small seating area with a couch and some plush leather chairs. His laptop is open on the coffee table in front of him, and he is aiming a gun right at me. Every muscle in my body goes rigid. This is the first time I’ve looked down the barrel of a gun. It won’t be the last. I realize I’m holding my breath, and force myself to breathe. Remain calm. Panic gets people killed. I push myself through the shock, and back to the present. When he recognizes me, he becomes confused.'
“Why are you here, Lori?” he asks, keeping the gun trained on me.

 photo tumblr_lprfbq6trM1qffj5lo1_500_zpsc168a1a4.gif

He no longer trusts her. But he should. Because his life is now in her hands. He no longer has a choice and neither does she. She must protect him and he must allow it. There is NO other option.

“Geoffrey?”
“Yes, Lori.”
“Can you think of any reason that someone would want to kidnap you?”
“You mean you don’t know why these people are after me? I assumed it was because of what’s in those boxes NATO hired me to make.”
“Yes, but they’re not going after the boxes anymore—they’re only targeting you. Do you know why that would be?”
Silence fills the room, and I wait patiently for him to answer.
“Who did you say you worked for again?” Geoffrey asks.
“I didn’t,” I say, hoping he will leave it.
“Is Lori even your real name?”

When Jessica realizes how deep the greed runs with rouge agents... Betrayal takes on new heights...

 photo tumblr_me5l68ocgF1rbrg5uo1_500_zpsa93737f8.gif

Can she save herself and Geoffrey along with the secrets he hold that could inexplicably change the world.

If you're looking for an action packed, twisty, turning, erotic quick read, look no further!

Jessica Booker works as a spy for the CIA.

She's a bit of a newbie, and she's on her second mission. Her sexy instructor Sims is her 'handler' for the case, and she can barely keep herself from handling him every time she sees him. But then there's this French guy...the target, Geoffrey...and then there's this other guy....

I'm not normally one to go for sexually aggressive women. But Jessica has the PERFECT excuse to be a floozy, so the chick absolutely takes the opportunity and RUNS with it! Kudos to her...wish I had the excuse that I had to sleep with hotties in order to preserve national security.

Problem is, her line of work and her lack of friends and loved ones makes Jessica a very lonely woman. Her job as a super sleuth, kick ass agent is not conducive to relationships. And she knows that getting involved with any of the men that are on her radar is bad move.

"He lifts my chin up so that we face each other. His eyes are filled with contentment and affection. He thinks we've made a connection. I reach up and kiss him because I can't look into his eyes. I don't like men looking at me that way, like I'm potential girlfriend material. The idea makes me want to run, but I can't. I have a job to do."

I was sad for Jessica. Her intentions are noble, and at times she just seems like a scared, lonely girl doing what she thinks is best. She also is in dire need of someone to have her back, but with the twists and turns every other page in this book, it's hard for me to say who I even want her to be with, or who won't betray her. Her trust isn't given lightly, and for very good reason!!!

I was impressed with how the suspense was handled in this book. The spy aspect was very well executed...it read like a movie, and had me all tense and ready for action. Everything actually made sense, and I swear I heard the "Mission Impossible" theme playing in my head. Well done, Miss Evans!

If I had one complaint about the book, I wish that it had been longer...that's good, right?! I think that it Jessica's character in particular could have benefited from more character development. She has some depth there that should be more apparent, I think. And I could have connected with her more. However, I see that Jessica's story continues with another book from this talented emerging author, and I have a feeling that that we will get to know her a lot more with each new installment. I love when a character unfolds like this!! And I'm very much looking forward to Jessica's next adventure.

Best described as an erotic thriller, Agent of Desire is the first book in the new Jessica Booker series. Jessica is kind of like a female James Bond – highly-sexed super spy. It’s a romp and it’s great fun.

Jessica is a rookie CIA agent and we join her working her first job in the field waiting to meet her handler in a hotel bar in Paris. Her handler is Sims, her ex-instructor, seemingly irresistibly handsome and a distraction Jessica really doesn’t need when she’s trying to establish her reputation.

He gives her an assignment to get close to a target using her feminine wiles and it was at this point that Jessica started to feel a little like a female James Bond to me as she indulged in a fair amount of bed hopping with handsome agents, targets and handlers alike. It’s a fairly steamy read.

I really enjoyed this – it romps along at a cracking pace, sizzling with red-hot chemistry and follows a twisting, convoluted path where no one is who they first appear to be and nothing is as it seems. There were several gasp out loud moments and shocking plot twists and I don’t want to go any deeper into the plot for risk of giving it away.

It’s a great set up to a new series and who knows where it will take us next and who with. Jessica, obviously, is the central character and she’s a strong, independent woman who’s channelling her inner Lara Croft and is not immune to making a few howling errors in judgement which sets up the series nicely to continue. She’s a great heroine and it’s fun to be inside her head as she jumps out of one crazy situation right into another.

I think this has the potential to be a great series with a strong, self-assured heroine whose antics in and out of the bedroom are going to keep us entertained for several books yet to come. Very accomplished debut novel. Great fun!

Opening Line: “My handler is late. I’m on my third Chardonnay of the evening, waiting in the dimly lit bar of my two-star hotel.”

I went into Agent Of Desire completely blind after receiving an ARC from the author. Lucky me though because this sexy little spy thriller turned out to be a great read. First off I really enjoyed the writing, with its slick, fast paced storyline (containing plenty of twists and turns) and strong, self-assured heroine who goes after what she wants. I’m not usually one for the kickass females but Jessica aka “Lori” kept me smiling here with her witty inner dialogue and veracious sexual appetite.

I think my favourite thing about this novella though would have to be the setting. Ah Paris, and author Charlie Evans does it justice. Her descriptions are just fabulous, in particular the section where “Lori” walks the River Seine at night which managed to transport me back to the city of lights. In that moment I too could smell the French coffee from one of the many café’s and recalled my own reaction at seeing the Eifel tower off in the distance as the entire city reflected off the gently lapping canal.

I guess my only real complaint here would be the lack of any form of sexual tension. Our heroine just gets down to it without any preamble, buildup or even much foreplay. It’s all very alpha and liberating but because of this wham-bam aspect I never felt any real connection to her assorted lovers. Speaking of which she’s a pretty lucky girl because all the men she beds here have huge… is that gunna fit…members. LOL

Jessica Booker is a CIA agent in Paris on her second assignment. In her own words she’s “already over the whole international-woman-of-mystery thing.” After sitting a desk job for the last year in Ireland she’s realized that being a spy is nothing like what you see in the movies and subsequently has been forced to keep herself entertained however and whenever she can.

But Paris is a whole different game and this becomes apparent when her new handler turns out to be none other than the “hot teacher from training camp.” But schools out, he’s no longer her instructor, and now all bets are off.

“Sims takes a sip of his bourbon without breaking eye contact, and I can’t help but feel like he’s drinking me.”

Distractions aside, Jessica does have a job to do. What a shame (wink) that her latest assignment is going to involve seducing a gorgeous French computer genius. Before long she and the hunk are on the run and no one is who they appear to be. Come to think of it, Jessica’s not even sure what she’s protecting anymore. With rogue agents, motorcycle chases, gun play, scaling buildings, and hiding out from double crossing agents she’ll be lucky to come out of this assignment intact. Worst of all she might just be developing feelings for the hottie computer nerd.

Can’t wait to read more from the Jessica Booker series. Cheers.

Jessica Brooker a CIA agent has her work cut out for her, when she gets assigned to a mission that lands her in hot water in more ways than one. Can she resist the charms of Sims, or the somewhat nerdy but sexy Frenchman that she needs to protect? This is where the story has its twists and turns.

I found Jessica to be a strong heroine and the men sexy, but unfortunately this is where it stops. The plot and story just didn’t work for me. I didn’t feel the connection between the characters and found the plot a little lacking in the suspense department for my liking. But don’t let me deter you from reading this, because it may work for you.

Thanks goes to Charlie Evans for providing me with an ARC, for an honest review.

Damn! That was hot! AGENT OF DESIRE, the first book in the exciting JESSICA BOOKER series, is chocked full of super-sexy spies that will make your panties melt.

Jessica Booker is a badass CIA agent on a mission to uncover the truth…about what? That’s just it…she’s not sure. In the world of espionage, nothing is ever as it seems and this mission is no different. Jessica must remain focused, but that proves to be very difficult with all the hot, hard-bodied men that surround her – between the rogue agents, her “handler” and the nerd-hottie they are after, she has to stay alert an on her on her toes as danger seems to lurk around every corner.

This erotic spy thriller has a sexy and twisty plot that sucks the reader in from the very first page. I devoured it in one sitting, as I am certain you will too when you pick up this page-turner!

Holy Moly, sexy female agent time! I can honestly say I have never read a book quite like this before; a hot erotic, spy thriller with a female lead like I did in Agent of Desire by Charlie Evans. Jessica Booker plays sexy spy agent “Lori” as she is known undercover. Jessica is in Paris on her first big mission by herself. She uses her sex appeal to her advantage to gain access to her target Geoffrey; a sexy Frenchman. As Jessica is on her mission things begin to get off course and now Jessica doesn’t know who to trust when other agents become traders leaving Jessica alone trying to keep Geoffrey and her alive.

Jessica Booker is a total bad ass alpha female! I thought it was a joy to read a female lead in a nontraditional way. She sleeps with whomever she wants - even if it’s just to gain access to them, she can kick any guys butt, and she is a spy. What can be better than that? I also really enjoyed the setting; taking place in Paris was a bit different and also unique. I really enjoyed Ms. Evans writing style and her fast pace in Agent of Desires. I think if it was any longer it would have been dragged out, this was the perfect length for a book such as this.

As I said, I really liked reading a character like Jessica Book a lot more than I thought I would. I am looking forward to reading book two and find out what is next for Jessica. Agent of Desire ends not so much a cliff hanger but it is definitely a “to be continued” ending.

I give Agent of Desires 3.5 Stars

F-U-N! That's the word that kept coming to mind as I was reading this fast-paced, erotic spy thriller. And I wasn't expecting fun! This was not typical of my usual romance reads (no neatly wrapped up HEA), but it was a nice change of pace.

The book blurb says it all, and I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I'll not go into much detail. I will say that I really enjoyed the book's heroine, rookie 25-year-old sexpot CIA agent Jessica Booker, but at first I wasn't too sure if I'd like her. How to say it...at first she came off as a bit "eager" to get in any man's pants, and maybe enjoyed the "anything it takes to get the job done" part of her job a little too much!:) But luckily the author gives us a bit of her backstory, fleshes the character out a bit, and so okay, she has a healthy libido, and I could live with it, and I understood where she was coming from. And I did love her steamy interaction with the sexy IT nerd Geoffrey, and .

Sexy nerd "Geoffrey"...
 photo 5db9f257-0f90-4524-b7a5-cb5e94e9c0ea_zps81c36ed6.jpg

There were lots of twists and turns to keep the reader on her toes, and yes, I'll admit I thought things were going to turn out differently with her "handler" Sims! I was kind of bummed about that, because I had a whole different scenario in my head.:(

So, great start to what looks to be an exciting series reading about Jessica and watching her use her head, physical agility, and feminine wiles to take down the bad guys. Hopefully she'll find a love that will last along the way too! Hard to believe that this is author Charlie Evans's first book--she writes smoothly and delivers plenty of action and steam. If the book was a little longer and more in depth, it would earn another star. But it's definitely a solid 4 star read.

What a great book. This was a really fun, quick read. I whizzed through it in one evening.

I love an angsty, heart wrenching romance, but sometimes it'd nice to have something a bit different. A bit racy and a bit exciting. Agent of Desire was just the ticket. It was a short burst of drama, action and excitement.

It was nothing like the spy films with exotic locations, heart-stopping danger, and smokin' agents with telling scars.

... Until now. This book was steamy, witty and original.

Jessica/Lori wasn't exactly what I'd call loveable, but I did warm to her. She was slutty, her morals were questionable and she has issues with commitment and settling down. But her heart seemed in the right place and she was really very funny.

I look over the back of the chair to make sure he's still asleep. He is. And he still has an erection. I can't stay in the room with him like that all night. I'm liable to give myself finger cramps from playing with myself.

The story follows rookie CIA agent 'Lori', real name; Jessica, on her first high action mission. It's her chance to prove herself in her field and what she's trained for all her life. But as she already knows, it's hard to work out who to trust, everybody is a potential enemy and she has to work smart and fast to save herself and any other innocent parties, using guns, secret gadgets, code cracking and of course, sex!

Most of our trainers said it was up to our discretion, and that we never had to use sex unless we felt it was necessary. Wink, wink. They also said that we should do whatever it takes to get the job done.

I can't say much more about the characters without giving too much away, and the twists and turns are what makes this book what it is, so my lips are sealed. You will have to read to find out more.

If you're after something that won't tear your heart to shreds and leave you with puffy eyes and an empty Kleenex box, this is a great read.

He's winning.
Something stirs inside me. That means I'm losing.
I hate losing.
The game isn't over until you're dead.

I read Agent of Desire a couple of months ago as a beta reader for Charlie. This is a very action-packed and super steamy read. If you’re looking for something a quick read with suspense, secrets, lies, HEAT and plenty of plot twists, this would be a great read for you.

We meet Jessica Booker, or as she’s known on this mission, Lori, while she’s waiting for her new FBI handler on her first ever solo CIA mission in Paris. With extensive training, she’s finally ready to handle her own job. What she doesn’t realize is just how twisted and convoluted this mission is about to get. As someone who isn’t afraid to use her sex appeal to get what she needs, Jessica is fully prepared to seduce whomever she needs to in order to successfully accomplish this mission.

Soon after beginning her mission, she realizes she can’t trust the people she thought she could — much in the same way, the people she thought were the bad guys really aren’t that bad, after all. Charlie did a wonderful job of keeping me guessing when it came to who did what and what was going to happen next.

In terms of the sexiness factor — Charlie incorporated this into the story perfectly. There was one scene that I do think was a bit far-fetched, however, this is an erotic story, so taken as that, it works for the story. The chemistry that Jessica has with Geoffrey is electric and the sexual tension between them is so palpable.

This was a very quick read, but I think that the story was definitely developed enough. I don’t find that it was lagging anywhere, and given the ending, I know that we have a lot more to uncover about Jessica. I’m certainly looking forward to reading the next book in this series, Desert Heat, to see exactly where Jessica’s next mission takes her.

Mmmm... I'm sorry... maybe I was expecting too much...
It's not that I didn't like it. The story could have been interesting if not for the feel that the heroine was too much slutty.
It's a short book and many things happen.
Instead of feeleing that she's and "adrenaline junky" , as stated in the blurb, I had a feeling she's a wanna-be spy. She thinks she's so smart, but forgets some very important things - and I'm not talking about things done by others, but by herself! She doesn't think, she just acts... and not in a very smart way! And, as I said, she's slutty: at the beginning she's in a bar waiting for her handler, but instead of thinking about her assignment, she thinks about taking to bed a young guy because she's tired of waiting and bored! OMG!!! I really hope under-cover operatives think better than that! As soon as her handler arrives what does she do? She thinks about bedding him!!! When he leaves, what does she do? She goes to the fist guy and get all over him!!! She doesn't go all the way with him, because what she needs to do? She needs to seduce another guy as in her assignment! OMG!!! WTF!!! Even during the chase that happens after she's all over the guy she's suppose to protect!!! Is she an w*hore or what???
In between al the hot stuff, she climbes balconies, drives a powerful bike, takes surveilance tours around the supposedly safe house - but during all this she get caught why? Because she toughts are in her pants!!!
I give it two star for writing style (even if I don't overly like the 1st person narrative) and the possibilities the story could have had if not for all the slutty-ness!

Agent of Desire is the debut novel of the author Charlie Evans. A good story, a good plot and lots of twist that i never saw them coming.

Jessica Booker is a new CIA agent on her second mission in Paris, waiting for her handler to receive the details for this assignment. When the handler appears to be the one and only Sims her sexy instructor during her training she is caught off guard, and to make matters even worse, her new target is a sexy french man Geoffrey Pinot. While she was working at her new assignment everything goes to pieces and when a second handler Lincoln appears in the situation Jessica will have to prove how good she is at her job and more.

I liked this book, well written with a good story, amazing plot and lots of twist that kept me waiting and thinking wot is coming up next. My only problem with this book was the way Jessica was reacting to the men around her and how quick she was ready to jump in bed with them. I didn't find no connection or chemistry between her or any of the man's in special Geoffrey.

I had a hard time thinking how should i rate this book so i decided to give 4 stars instead of 3 how i decided initially. The story and the plot were to good to rate this as 3 stars.

Many thanks to Charlie Evans for providing me with a copy in exchange for a honest review.

I was really looking forward to reading this book after reading the summary and seeing so many glowing reviews but unfortunately, I just couldn't get into this story. Jessica basically wanted to sleep with any guy she came into contact with, which I found a little hard to believe. Another aspect that I wasn't impressed with was that Jessica expected her superiors to take her seriously but she just kept making dumb mistakes. For example, thinking the flower Sims gave her had the code she needed, when she was explicitly told her handler would give her a rose. Or she forgot the glasses that Geoffry is wearing have tracking and audio/visual. And the love (?) story between Jess and Geoffry seemed rushed and kind of unnecessary in my opinion since it looks like in the next book Jess will have another love interest. I know this series is kind of like a female James Bond series, so different guys each book makes sense. The emotional attachment between Jess and Geoffry is part of my problem with her finding a different guy in the next book.

This was my first erotic spy thriller and I loved it! I finished it in only a couple ofhours. It reminded me of an episode of Burn Notice and Jessica would be playing the role of Michael Weston.

Jessica is a relatively young CIA agent on a mission in Paris. The book takes you on an adventure where she has to protect the good guy and figure out who she can trust to get the mission done. She also has to deal with feelings that she hates to admit are there.

Overall it was an easy short read and I look forward to reading more in this series!

This was a different read then the regular romance novels I am use to reading. I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Being the one always watching the crime shows on tv (CSI, NCIS etc) this is was right up my alley. This book had suspense, action and a lot of hot sexy scenes to enjoy.

Jessica seems to stay emotionally unattached to all of her conquests during her second mission in the CIA...but she finds herself drawn to Geoffrey. Can he possibly change her mind?

One of my favorite scenes was with Sims, I felt it was quite hot!! I look forward to more reads from this author.

I received the book from the author for review. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had just briefly glanced that it was a genre I enjoy. I enjoyed the book and Jessica is a great character that I look forward to following in the future. This was a fairly short read (91 pages) but Evans manages to develope the character of Jessica well and leave you with enough twist and turns in the story line to leave you guessing. Would reccomend to anyone who likes crime romance and will follow the story in the Jessica Booker series.

This was pretty good. Jessica Booker is a cool chick, didn't find out much about her though, will probably be revealed with other installments. It was a quick read with hot steamy scenes and a mystery. I totally liked Geoffrey and hope he will be a constant in her other books. Very enjoyable easy read.

REVIEW: AGENT OF DESIRE is the first storyline in Charlie Evan’s new Jessica Booker series focusing on a young female CIA agent working undercover in the world of espionage, secret missions and world domination.

Agent Jessica Booker’s (aka Lori) latest assignment takes her to Paris France where she must seduce a handsome computer genius in order to ferret out information regarding a high tech computer program that would ensure whomever was in possession controlled most of the world’s power. But what Jessica did not bargain for was falling for her latest assignment. And things turn from bad to worse when she is informed that her handler in the CIA may have set her up to take a fall.

Agent of Desire takes the reader into a world of double agents, betrayal and heart ache when Jessica discovers that she can no longer trust the man who trained her to be what she is today. When she is reassigned, Jessica will learn that perhaps no man is worth losing your heart when lies and betrayal are the path to getting what they want.

Told from the heroine’s POV, Agent of Desire is an erotic, romance, suspense novel that is a fast paced, quick read with a little bit of action, a little bit of romance and a little bit of erotic sex. Jessica Booker is a take no prisoners, kickass heroine who knows her business, but sometimes she has to cross the line to get the work done. And in doing so, she may lose her heart as well as her life.

If you like a storyline with action, suspense, mystery, espionage and sex, Agent of Desire is the perfect read.

What's better than a CIA agent that has a killer body, sharp mind, and sexual interest?!?! ...an ass-kicking female CIA agent. And you got to love novellas, they quickly get to the point!

Jessica Booker is an amateur agent; 25 years old, tired of sitting behind a desk, and recently assigned her 2nd mission. She is in control of her life, her desires, and ready to prove her worth. However, she quickly learns she doesn't know who she can trust.

A benefit of women in the CIA is that most typical men; the good, the bad, and the ugly, lose their wits when it comes to women. They all have their preferred type of course, and Jessica is lucky enough to be the type that catches Geoffrey's attention. Geoffrey, an IT genius, and the target of her mission. Sounds easy enough right?! Phase 1 of the mission is to do seduce and conquer. But it's not a hard task since Geoffrey is sweet tempered, chiseled, talented with his hands (thank god for that!), and has a accent that can melt your panties.
Knee-deep into the mission, and after she seduces Geoffrey (which she enjoys it too much), Jessica realizes something isn't right. Women's intuition gets you every time! As she follows instructions, she begins to unravel the scandal.

Lust, and even love, is very interesting; it seems we don't get to choose who we fall for. This book is an enjoyable role reversal. The female participates in some ass-kicking, she has memorable moments under the sheets (and other places!), and has a front row seat with scandal.

Just flat out, brutal honesty, I didn't like this one.

Even though this was more of a novella, there should still be some kind of character development, nor was I given a chance to either like or dislike the heroine. Shortness of the story shouldn't matter; there should be the feeling of having developed a relationship here.

First off, the protagonist admits that she's gorgeous. Right off I don't like her. The knowledge of the CIA world seemed very superficial. There was no reflection or internal monologue. At least it was a romance, so the sexy bits should have been fun. But they weren't - they read like a man had written them. "This went there and then he did this and I did that." Clinical. Not reflective.

And yet with the lack of descriptions on ANYTHING, the most simple concepts were OVER explained. There were no "agency trade secrets" that needed as much explanation as what we got.

I don't think I'll be reading another Jessica Booker story, but I will give Charlie Evans another try at some point.

5/5 STARS!!!! or 6/5 STARS

first of all I L-O-O-O-O-V-E the cover! Its very catchy... I mean VERY.

Even though Lori (Jessica, I think Lori is her alter-ego) is being with many men, I don't picture her like a slut or whore, I think she's so sexy! grrr.. meow!
Geoffrey Pinot is a hot IT. I think I want him for myself... ha-ha
Agent Sims god even though he's got those evil plans, i hate the fact that i like him... he's dead now.. R.I.P.
Then there's Agent Lincoln, he's mysterious i wish he's gin to be in the second book... He's in-league with Agent Sims but in the end he's the one who killed him. So Jessica is alive because of him... she owes her life to her even though he betrayed the CIA.

I LIKE THIS BOOK ALOT.. Its like read a 300 page book.. but I'm not.. I wish it was longer (many hot scenes). I DEFINITELY READING THE BOOK 2! AND I WANT IT NOW!

Jessica Booker is an agent for the CIA. She's a rookie and on her first field mission. But things quickly go FUBAR! Now she's on the run with the nerdy hot guy and she's doing everything she can to keep him alive.

But, things are not always what they seem.

While I enjoyed this story, I did have a hard time connecting with the characters. It's a relatively short story and that may have contributed to that. I definitely wanted it to be longer.

I'm looking forward to the others in this series!

I am not into thrillers, I don't even watch this kind of movies, but I am into erotica. That's why I wanted to read this book. I liked the combination of CIA and secrets and sex. It really made me squirm.

Paris. CIA. Spies. Sex. This book has it all.
Jessica is a CIA agent on a mission in Paris and that is where the simplicity stops. A great read that gets you thinking about who Jessica should trust, what might happen next and is she really sleeping with the right sexy guy?
My only complaint is that the book seemed too short but I can't wait for the next one!

3.5 STARS A short quick read. Full of sexy steamy moments, however, I felt like main character , Jennifer, jumps every guy she meets: agent Sims her handler, Lincoln her fake handler ?, and her target Geoffrey.
