This is a delightful and deeply moving short novella. It is the story of Shelley, an innocent, but very wise young girl who has been left to her own devices after the death of her parents when she was only 6 years old. She is living on the family farm under the care of her "bad ass" brother who she adores and clearly loves her very much. first let me say i quite enjoyed this book.
the story was incredibly original and there was a lot to like about the characters.
what i didn't like...
I understand the book was a self-pub but i feel the book could do with a revision making the layout easier to read (left pages smaller indent on left, right pages bigger indent on left) the formatting and font size make it a little more difficult to read than it needed to be.
