The first novella (Love in Three-Quarter Time) was pretty much okay. The second felt like a joke to me because the characters were, quite frankly, awkwardly built up and the chemistry between the couple was highly unlikely.

But come the third one, Tapestry, and I felt like I stumbled into a scene right out of any sane woman's nightmare. I kept glancing at the back cover and looking at whatever clues I could find just to assure myself I was still reading a romance anthology. Whatever moral the aut

Let me start off by saying. Janet Dailey I do not know how you got sandwiched between these two other novellas but I'm sorry. The Taming of Katharina was the only bright spot of the entire book. Now having said that I do not recommend this book to anyone.

This book was a mixed bag for me. I enjoyed the first two stories as light and fluffy fun reading. The third story felt out of place in this anthology. To me, it was a vast departure from the first two. The author put her character through quite a bit of disturbing drama. The build up to the end and the end were disappointing.

Hated the book at the first chapter and put it away. The story is written poorly and the heroine personality and vocabulary don't match the timing of the story...The characters could have been intriguing if the author(s) have worked a lot more on them...

I only liked (and finished) Janet Dailey's story. That was surprising, as I usually don't like her books. The other two were DNF.

Really Good. Love the setting. Want to throw a Masquerade ball now.

First two were good books. Kind of hokey but nice.

The third was a horrible nightmare of pain.
