This paranormal romance begins in a refreshingly unorthodox manner: Gage, the weapons and security expert at an advanced research facility, gets a call that an unauthorized person is in the lab. Ever the one to shoot first and ask questions later, he promptly puts a bullet in the intruder's shoulder. He realizes too late that he has shot none other than Amelia Sinister of the infamous Sinister Sisters, whom he immediately recognizes as his mate. Thinking quickly, he cuts open his own veins and l ...more

Review forthcoming on http://a-reader-lives-a-thousand-live...

I received a copy of Frozen Fury, book 5 of the Seven Sin Sisters series, in exchange for my review.

Gage is frustrated to be assigned to a routine patrol at a lab until he shoots someone that he thought was an intruder but turned out to be Amelia Sinster, a scientist at the lab and his mate. Completely devastated about the fact that he shot his mate, what Gage didn't count on was the anger that Amelia would feel towards him for it. St

In book five of her Seven Sinister Sisters Series author Paloma Beck picks up the action. Letting the overall story arc rise once again to the front

What is impressive about series is that each book takes a theme that plays to the personalities of their main characters. (See my reviews of books 2-4 HERE) Gage and Amelia's story is no different.

The seven Sinster sisters are entwined in a legacy originating back from the time of the Italian Wars in the 1500s. One

The fifth novella in this delightful paranormal series is a thrilling and erotically charged quick read. Gage Santucci accidentally shoots a genetic physicist working at the lab he’s guarding, imagine his surprise when she turns out to be Amelia Sinster… his mate. The fury emboldened by Amelia’s soul sin of anger drives them apart, will the love she doesn’t believe in be enough to bring them back together.

The fast paced plot starts off with an intense and exciting situation and continues to keep

This is a review for both Holding hope and frozen fury. These were probably two of my favorites in the series. I loved the couples in these books. They just pulled me in. I could not put these down at all. I cannot wait to start the next one.

Good pace. Not complicated at all, easy read, there’s not much to think about or ponder on; it’s not a book that will leave an impression either. I’ll probably forget all about it tomorrow.
The dialogues are just too…simple. It doesn’t give a lot to go on in terms of helping you know more about the characters, liking them. Half the book is about sex, and it’s nicely written without being vulgar, but the rest…
There’s nothing bad, but nothing’s standing o
