“The Nexus Complex: A Personal Guide to Truth” by Greg Lentz is an interesting and intellectual look at sapience which is defined as deep, thorough, or mature understanding or the ability to apply knowledge, experience, understanding, or common sense and insight. It is not an easy read, but one that is sure to stimulate thought if you really try to understand what Lentz is conveying.

I immediately connected with the Nexus Complex and try to use it everyday. The author has a pragmatic and easy to use system for being able to stop yourself from knee-jerk reactions, distance yourself mentally from unpleasant situations, and best of all--center yourself in calm. I find myself not just being nicer all around, I also get better reactions from the people around me. The added bonus is that it's done wonders for my blood pressure. :)
