"A Perfect Plan" by Beth Wiseman, "The Perfect Match" by Kathleen Fuller, and "The Perfect Secret" by Kelly Long have written about three Amish women in three different short stories that are faced with many obstacles preparing for their wedding day. Will Priscilla King, Naomi Fisher, or Rose Bender find their way to marriage?

An Amish Wedding is my first Amish book that I have read. I was a little disappointed to know that an Amish person could be a thief and cells phones were allowed. I know th

I didn't learn about Amish lifestyle as much as I hoped. The story was engaging but everything was too perfect. All the characters were good-willed, kind, sensitive, thoughtful, yadi yadi yada, and the plans were perfect and everything works out eventually. El fin.

Review by Kara Grant

Will these three Amish women get the wedding of their dreams or will they have to settle for something else? Here are three very different stories woven into one book with different perspectives on how to trust God with the most important decision a young woman can make. Out of the three stories, only two women are getting married, but there is love to be experienced by each.

A book of three novellas, all centered around wedding preparations. Kept my interest and focused on perfectionism, God's will, trust and more. Romantic.

I like how each of these stories was set not only in the same community, but at the same basic time. This added a bit of cohesiveness to the collection that might not have been there otherwise. I also appreciated how each couple in the stories learned how to trust in God's plan and timing and lead.
I think my favourite of the stories was Luke and Rose's. I enjoyed the bit of mystery surrounding "Rob in the Hood", and how that eventually played out in Luke and Rose's lives.

The first story was just plain unreal. I know these books are fiction but many read as non-fiction, which I like. I enjoyed the other two stories.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I am under no obligation to write a positive review, just an honest one. I also want to thank both NetGalley and Thomas Nelson Publishers for allowing me to review this book.

I really enjoyed this book and could hardly put it down. It amazes me how three authors can write stories that go together, does one write first, then the second, then the last one or do they get together and plot the characters and certain 'events' that take place? These stories are about three friends and take place during the same time span.

"A Perfect Secret" is a story about Rose and Luke, lifelong friends and neighbors who are engaged. This is very intriguing since they have both joined the

I'm going to be honest with you, dear reader: I did not expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. Yes, I've dabbled in many a Chick Lit book, always finding them great books to read after something particularly heavy or cumbersome to read. They are always a great escape with their light topics and predictable endings.

When I received the booklist for November from Booksneeze, though, An Amish Wedding caught me eye. Yes, it was about a wedding and seemed to be light and fluffy, but it also had s

A very enjoyable collaboration of three books in one. The books are:
1. A Perfect Secret by Kelly Long
2. A Perfect Match by Kathleen Fuller
3. A Perfect Plan by Beth Wiseman
At the end of the book it includes:

*Amish Recipes

My Take:
All three of these stories are somewhat intertwined. In the first story, A Perfect Secret, by Kelly Long, Rose and Luke are neighbors, and they happen to get engaged. Rose worries whether or not passion really can exi

Three Amish couples wrestle with doubts and hilarious situations in the days prior to their nuptials.

Each of the three novellas are interwoven with the story lines of the other making this book even sweeter. Because this is a novellas collection I will split my review into 3 parts, with a brief review of each story.

Perfect Secret is the first of the collection, and tells the tale of Rose Bender and her husband-to-be Luke. As the date grows closer so do Rose's suspicions that Luke is hiding somet

This is a book made up of three different stories by three different authors. The neat thing about these stories is they all fit together by leading up to a final event.

The Perfect Secret: This story is about Rose and Luke. They become engaged but Rose is not sure its for the best and Luke has a secret he is not sharing with Rose. I will be honest this story is not one I enjoyed that much. The idea for the story line was okay but since it was a short story it felt rushed. One minute R

Priscilla’s upcoming wedding is stirring up trouble—and romance—in Paradise. A collection of three Amish novella’s connected to one larger story.

A Perfect Secret by Kelly Long—Rose Bender has always known she’d marry her long time best friend Luke Lantz. This book is a compilation of three novellas all centered around the love lives of a group of intertwined Amish women. The first story, A Perfect Plan, follows the over-stressed and superstitious Priscilla who is engaged to charming Chester Lapp. The story is sweet and romantic, but it focuses on what happens when everything you want to be perfect kind of falls apart.

Do you love and enjoy short stories ? An Amish Wedding is a collection of three short stories by three wonderful Amish Fiction writers - all surrounding the theme of Weddings. The first story which I personally enjoyed the most was The Perfect Secret by Kelly Long, in which we meet newly engaged couple Rose and Luke. Rose yearns for more excitement and passion in her heart and when she hears about a thief that has been stealing in the midst of the night , she longs to meet this thief as we learn ...more

When I was pregnant (4 years ago!) I fell in love with Amish Fiction. I think part of it was that I was regularly traveling through Amish country for work and I saw everything through rose colored glasses. So I started reading books where the biggest problems were simple ones. Now, every once in awhile I feel the need to read another, and when I saw An Amish Wedding on Netgalley, I thought it would be the perfect read for a winter day!

Usually, I am a big fan of Amish fiction and especially, of author Kathleen Fuller's Amish stories. I was eager to read "Amish Wedding" when I received it.

Amish Wedding is a collection of 3 stories, basically comprised of 3 different view points of a single event, the approaching wedding of Priscilla and Chester.

Story one "The Perfect Secret" was my least favorite of the three. The plot was a bit farfetched to me. The characters didn't behave in what many would think of as Amish manner on severa

Three Amish women yearn for the perfect wedding.

In the first story "A Perfect Plan" by Beth Wiseman, Prisilla King is faced with so many distractions as she plans her wedding with Chester Lapp. She becomes a doubting Thomas and is afraid all these things are bad omen which is not in her belief. She pray for God's will be done if she is to marry Chester. Fear is our enemy it can cause us to be blinded to God's will.
I rate this story a five out of five.

On the whole, I really enjoyed "An Amish Wedding". I like how three different authors can each write a distinct story, yet use the same characters and setting, and combine them into a single, seamless work. However, I was a bit frustrated with the order of the stories; on the back cover lists the novellas one way, but in the actual book, the order is reversed!

My favorite novella was the story of Rose and Luke. The plot was a bit edgier than anything I've encountered before in Amish fiction, the

An Amish Wedding tells the stories of a trio of ladies who are preparing for the upcoming nuptials of Priscilla King and Chester Lapp. Part one is A Perfect Secret by Kelly Long. She feels like he may be hiding a secret from her and she desperately wants to find out what it is. During her quest for answers she is forced ...more

An Amish Wedding is a bind-up of three different stories that is centred around Priscilla and Chester's upcoming wedding. Each story is told from a different persons point of view who reside in the same community where the wedding is to be held.
I went into this book completely blind not knowing what it was about (apart from the title) and fell in love within the first couple of chapters, it wasn't until the first beautifully written story ended that I realised that it was a bind-up. I thoroughl
