Sweet secrets…

It has been almost five years since Shari Drayson graduated college—almost five years since she had her heart broken. Now the only man in her life is her cherished son, Andre. But her life is full, and her family's bakery is about to appear in a baking competition on national TV. Who needs love when you've got pastries?

Sweetest seduction…

When Grant Robinson finally tracks Shari down in Chicago, he expects she will still be beautiful. He expects she will still be smart. What he doesn't expect is her four-year-old son— who looks exactly like him. The wealthy restaurateur is stunned, and his anger wars with passion for the woman he has never truly forgotten. Determined to claim what is his, Grant insists they marry at once. But his bride soon realizes she's at risk for another heartbreak. Can Grant's skillful form of persuasion change her mind and convince her that his love is all she really needs?

Absolutely delicious! Shari has a secret. When she walked away from Grant Robinson, she didn't realize that she would have to face him one day. Grant was hurt that their one night stand didn't mean as much to her as it did to him. But that was just Shari protecting her heart. Especially when she went to him to share her news, and found him holding holding hands with Dina, her so called best friend, whom Grant later married. Yeah well, I wouldn't have told him either. I really like Shari's grandmother, Lillian, and how she taught them that respect and family are the most important components of life and if you work together, victory is yours!

Love it 💋

I would have told Grant the truth long time ago. Why or not shy, a man deserve to know when he is going to become a father. Shame on Shari. Dina would have never gotten her hands on Grant that easily. But I do commend Shari for raising a wonderful young man. Andre was just a jewel throughout the story.

Destined to love

This story was just amazing. Grant and Shari were destined to be together even with all the obstacles that kept them apart. True love has a way of finding you. Great job Ms. St. John.

This would have been a great story except for these brown women turning beet red. What's with authors and this nonsense that takes me right out of the story? Another thing is these college-educated psych major four-year-olds?

I'm not even finished and I feel pressed.

Yahrah St John's Delicious Destiny concludes the multi-author trilogy The Draysons: Sprinkled With Love, but this book can stand alone very well. Well, it certainly stands alone in the sense that you won't get lost if you read this book without having read the previous two books. When it comes to standing, however, this book is a complete mess because the author doesn't seem to get how crazy the heroine Shari Drayson comes off as. She passes off that brand of crazy as "goodness" while pinning the blame on the hero Grant Robinson's ex-wife.

Five years ago, Shari was so happy that she finally got to breathe within a few inches of her crush, Grant, that she got drunk by the end of the date and happily put out. Oh, she's not a whore - don't be judgmental, people, Shari was a virgin. The whore is that former BFF of hers, Dina English, and don't you all forget that. Anyway, after the happy moment, Shari is plagued by self-doubts. Surely Grant wouldn't love someone like her, so oh, she'd better cut things off before things gor worse! Meanwhile, Grant wanted to apologize for taking advantage of her when she was drunk, and he'd like to start all over again. Like having sex on the second date with her sober, I guess. But Shari gave him the "let's forget about it, and thanks for the bang" speech so he decided that she was some kind of whore after all and that Dina was so much nicer.

As usual, Shari got knocked up, but she saw Dina and Grant holding hands so she decided to withdraw from the scene and added another point to the statistic of Stupid Baby Mommas in Romance Novels.

Today, they meet again. Grant is conveniently divorced from Dina - he never loved her, she was so mean, blah blah blah - and he'd like to have sex with Shari again, especially with her sober. He soon finds out that he is the father of her son. Shari has been obsessed with Grant all these years, and she is so happy that he is divorced from that whore, but alas, when he wants to marry her, she knows that this is the worst thing that can ever happen because he doesn't love her. Of course, that whore shows up now and then to remind me that she's a whore and Dina's the good girl and every other woman in this world is a whore compared to Shari so, no matter how much of an imbecile Shari is, she's the perfect woman for Grant. And there are just so many whores in this world, shudder.

Here's the thing: Shari cut things off with Grant five years ago. She did this on her own. No one forced her to do this. And yet, she spends the entire book blaming Dina for "ruining her life" (her exact words) and "destroying the chance of them being a family". Shari told Grant that she was responsible for cutting him out, but she certainly doesn't behave like she believes that, as she constantly blames Dina for everything that is wrong in her life. This wrong-headedness, coupled to Shari's oh-so-so-stupid behaviour throughout the story, makes this story an excruciating read.

The author seems to believe that Dina is to blame for Shari's problems by amping up Dina's nasty-woman status to the point of Dina being a Scooby-Doo villain that is ridiculously all-powerful in her plot to destroy Shari. Worse, she rewards Shari - whose rampant stupidity in this book drives me up the wall - by having Shari being promoted to CFO of the family business at the end of the day. Shari, who has shown no sense of business, good judgment, or even halfway decent instincts or brainpower, is a CFO. Think about that for a minute.

Grant isn't too bad a guy compared to that imbecile he wants to spend the rest of his life with, but come on now, the author labors under the impression that it's okay if he treats Dina like crap because Dina is the other woman. He doesn't love Dina, he married her only because his family pressured him to marry, et cetera. No wonder Dina betrayed Shari's grandmother and started her own bakery. If I were in her shoes, I'd do the same and pinch staff from that hag's company out of spite. Like Shari, though, he blames Dina for so many things that he voluntarily did. Things are definitely going wrong here when the designated whore of the story comes off as far more sympathetic than the designated stars of the story.

There is just too much dumb in this story. The main couple jump into all kinds of miscommunication and wrong assumptions because they are gullible and dumb, and when they discover how stupid they have been, they blame everyone else for the nonsense they get themselves into all on their own. If this story had been a building, I'd say it's time someone takes a wrecking ball to it. Delicious Destiny is so awful that I actually feel embarrassed for having read it from start to finish.

I enjoyed this book, happy to see them reconnect after her shyness, a back stabbing friend and his lack in judgment seperated them in college.

This book is about Shari and Grant. Both of them met at college five years ago and spent a night together resulted in her pregnant with his baby. But instead of telling him the truth, Shari kept her pregnancy from him after the betrayal that she saw him with her best friend then, Dani. Five years have passed; her family based bakery is all set to participate in the bakery competition that will definitely bring their name up in the market. But the only thing that set them back is Dani’s bakery is also joining in the competition. Shari knows this is to either make it or die situation for her and her family bakery. To add to her misery, Grant is now trying vowed to cousin to join his successful restaurant chain and it also means that Grant is back in her life. But before she would confess the true identity of Andre, Grant already knew and insisted they get married to give their son a proper family or risk losing custody of him. Shari under duress, have no choice but to agree to his demand.

The book contains all elements of true romance book with passion, deception and love among its ingredients. Shari is crazy over Grant then and so is him but a lie from Dani coupled with Shari’s easy remark on their night leads to their separation. Both of them are stubborn in admitting their love coupled with Shari’s inferiority is a conflict that both of them needs to solve before they can find their ever after.

The last installment in the Drayson series was a fitting end to this series. In this installment Shari Drayson is still nursing a broken heart after five years, when her college crush, Grant Robinson, tracks her down to see if the sparks are still as explosive years later. Little does he realize when he meets Shari again she has a surprised for him….four-year-old Andre. Grant is adamant he and Shari marry so that they can provide Andre with a two-parent home, but Shari is afraid to open her heart again only to get hurt. Of course, there is the impending Bake-off with Shari’s old roommate and her readers will find out the real reason they are no longer friends.
Delicious Destiny brings the reader on a journey of re-discovering love, forgiveness and learning to let go of past insecurities and issues. Ms. St. John did a wonderful job developing the characters where the readers were rooting for Shari and the Drayson clan to win the Bake-off as well as finally have a “standing your ground and fighting to overcome your insecurities and become a leader moment. The story flowed well and was a good way to end this series.

In Delicious Destiny by Yahrah St. John, Shari Drayson has been the disappointment of her family, not professionally, but because she had a baby out of wedlock. What her family doesn’t know is that her friend and roommate not only stole recipes from them, she also stole the father of her child and married him. And that is a secret that she wanted to keep as long as she could.

Grant Robinson never forgot Shari, he wanted to date her and have a relationship with her, but after their one-night together her reaction that it was only a hookup was not something that he expected. Hurt and feeling used he let himself be taken by Shari’s friend and ended up marrying her, his worst mistake ever. Now almost five years later he tracks her down via her brother, and he wants to see if something new can develop. Read More...

Grant and Shari went to college together, after a one night stand he left her pregnant and married her best friend and roommate. Shari did her best to move on and raise her son the best she could. She never told anyone that Grant was the father.

Five years has pasted and Shari is working at her family's bakery, while at a family meeting she is told Grant will be coming to discuss business matters. Shari is at a loss for words; her family doesn’t know he is the father of her son. Will Grant see himself in her son, can she still hide her secret she keep for so many years….

I loved the storyline; it held my attention the entire time. The chemistry between the main characters was perfect. I loved this book; I thought it had an easy to follow flow to the story. I would absolutely recommend it! 5 stars all the way!!

Decadent Dreams is the final book in the Delicious Destiny series. Grant and Shari knew each other in college and had a one night stand that left her pregnant. Fast forward five years and Shari is working at her family's bakery and raising her son Andre. While preparing for a baking competition, Grant comes back into her life and turns it upside-down.

I love romance novels that feature kids and their son Andre was too cute. The only real thing I didn't like was the marriage of convenience plot. It was a little bit on the unbelievable side and to me that plot is becoming a little over done.

I enjoyed this book and thought it was a good conclusion to the series. I would recommend it. I am a fan of Yahrah St. John and look forward to reading her next book.

This was a great ending to the Draysons trilogy. I have been waiting on Sheri's story since the first book because I knew there was going to be drama. This book did not disappoint. All the lies and the secrets that could have been avoided all come out in this explosive ending. I'm sure there is going to be more to come form somebody down the line. We still need Drake's and Monica's story. I'm hoping that somebody will finish off this families books. Great job to all three authors involved in bringing us a great trilogy.

What a great ending to the Draysons storline. The twist with Grant and Shari was unexpected and I liked it. They had a very rocky start, but once they really found each other again it was a passion filled coupling. I really enjoyed the camaraderie in this family. Although they did bicker at times, they always came together as a united front. I do though wish that Drake had his own book because he really needs it. He is sprinkled throughout all the stories and really needs that woman to calm him down...hint hint!

Delicious Destiny by Yahrah St. John was the perfect ending to The Draysons: Sprinkled With Love series.

Shari Drayson and Grant Robinson's story was my favorite. This book was truly about family, renewing relationships, getting over past hurts and starting anew. Really great job by all three authors who really made this series come together. You will need to purchase the whole series to get the full affect of this amazing family. A must purchase.

Nice simple conclusion to the series. Totally unbelievable story line for the modern age, but it works for the series. Grant decides to marry Shari in less than two weeks after discovering he has a four year old son in which Shari conveniently failed to tell him. The romance between Grant and Shari was well-written with passionate love scenes. Very predictable, quick read that concluded the series very well.

Book three in the Sprinkle with love series is the best in the series. Filled with drama, love, baking, secrets and lies. In this story you see each of the Drayson grand children come into their own and find out that no matter what family come first. This story is centered around Shari Dryason and Grant Robinson both who made mistakes inn younger years, with the love of family the win it all.

I throughly enjoyed this trilogy. Reading about each one finding their true love was great. I think my favorite part is how their grandmother brought the family together with the baking competition. I would love to see what woman could tame Drake and bring him to his knees. Great job ladies!

This one was ok. Glad the story wrapped up and I read this one before the 2nd book. Oops. But it was ok. I would give it 3 1/2 stars. A lot of the situations created in these books would be resolved easily if people communicated more. Just saying.
