All of us know that when your an entertainer of any sort actress of singer or even model the more flawless you are the better. Yes in today's day and age most images of the famous are photo-shopped into looking like the perfect woman but in reality minor flaws are being hidden.

Which to me is not so bad as all woman will tell you we want to look our very best on any picture, but what happens when you loose that flawless image and instead end up with a nasty looking scar that cannot be hidden and

Very good book. Callie has come to Hollywood to be an actress, but while waiting for an acting job she is working as a receptionist for Noah. She is a cheerful person always having something good to say to people. She is attracted to Noah but is more interested in her acting career. He offers her a job doing the modelling for his new location's website and then she gets accepted for an acting job. Before that can happen she is hurt in an accident. This is a quick little read packed with a whole lot of drama and romance. Noah Foster is a plastic surgeon who is a sweet caring guy with a whole lot of hurt on the inside. He holds himself responsible for what happened to his fiance. She wanted to be a actress but fell into drugs and overdosed one day and passed away. His guilt eats at him and he can't get past that because he couldn't help her. Callie Matthews works for him in his office as a receptionist and has the same goal to be an actress ...more

Whew! I just finished "Hollywood House Call" this morning. I know it seems I always give this author 5 stars, but I can't help it. Each book she writes is better than the last...even when I think she can't outdo herself, she does. This book is a little "heavier" than her others. These are "real" people" we can relate to with life altering hurdles in their lives. I found I had tears in my eyes at times, laughed, and became invested in these characters. I better shut up before I give the entire st ...more

First let me say that this is a good book. It really is. The plot was a good one, and I loved what brought these two people together.

However, the main characters sometimes rubbed me the wrong way. Like how Callie was always so concerned about her appearance. I know that to be an actress (her career of choice) you really do have to look your best, but the way that she was always so completely depressed about her scar really irritated me.

Something that I really liked about this though, was the beg

Romance at it's best and I would be hard-pressed to find another author who does romance as good as the lovely Jules.

Callie Matthews, small town girl with dreams of becoming a Hollywood actress, moves to LA to pursue her dreams.Stardom doesn't happen overnight so in the meantime Callie works as a receptionist for the gorgeous cosmetic surgeon Noah Foster. There is an undeniable attraction between them that neither want to progress on. Soon they won't be able to stop it whether they want to or no

This is the story of Callie, wannabe movie star, and Noah, plastic surgeon to the stars. Although this is a Desire and has a fairly high heat rating in the category scale of things, it is really a very sweet read.

Noah is no alpha male full of entitlement and arrogance. Sure he is a top surgeon but he's also a really nice guy, recovering from a toxic relationship that ended tragically.

Callie is the sweet girl next door from Kansas making it in the big smoke. She is determined to make things happe

Pretty good for a romance novel. I would've preferred if the heroine wasn't so damn shallow during the majority of the book ("Oh I have a facial scar, now I'm hideous!"), but I guess it was to be somewhat understood, considering the fact that she only lost the weight to be pretty enough for Hollywood. The hero obsessing over his dead fiancée got fairly annoying after the first few dozen times, but again, understandable since he blamed himself for her death in a way (by not helping her enough wit ...more

Very satisfying read.
Noah Foster is a plastic surgeon who is a sweet guy who is hurting from a sad past that involved his fiancé who has passed away. Callie Matthews works for him at his office as a receptionist. She very badly wants to be an actress. Noah wants Callie to pose for a Photo shoot for his practice. On the way to the photo shoot Callie gets into a terrible car accident that leaves her scarred. Noah wants to help Callie as both a doctor and a man. Throughout the book the chemistry b

In Hollywood House Call by Jules Bennett, a lovely wanna-be actress is waiting for her big break by working in Dr. Noah Foster’s office. As Callie’s boss is a brilliant cosmetic surgeon, she sees perfection on a daily basis, but knows that Dr. Foster doesn’t have a God complex like other surgeons his caliber. Noah …Read More

Plot was good but ending was way too fast.
Writing could be better, though it was as can be expected from any harlequin.
