Just in awe right now. Not only was the book amazing but, it had everything I need in a book and other things that just blew my mind! Destiny is a Vamphyr, really she is the first if her kind. The way she became one is just amazing. I don't like to give to many details,I will just say you need to read this bo

First I would like to thank the author Noelle Blakely for allowing me to read for review. I have to say I love this book and am looking forward to the continuence of the series. All the main characters are strong, I enjoy that the author took a different approach to telling the story. I like that there are love scenes but not an over abundance of them. I am looking forward to seeing how the story continues for everyone and what it all means for Destiny and what happened to her parents. Good job ...more

I believe Cherishing Destiny is very well written and the story line is captivating. I would highly recommend this book to customers that like a very good paranormal drama with some spice thrown in. I find myself wanting more and I can't wait to read what happens next. I hope the next book is published very soon so I can keep up on all of the characters. A note to Noelle Blakely, very good book and I can't wait to buy the next book in the series!

LT'S REVIEW: We find ourselves meeting Destiny at the bottom of a cave; she has been thrown down it and is badly hurt. While waiting to heal she relives the memories of her Vampire mother.
Alex and Aurora are madly in love for hundreds of years, they live in a world were humans know they exist and love to be around them and have built a trust between them all. But one strange day after making love they see a light storm in the sky, it’s not li

Noelle Blakely’s Chasing Destiny introduces readers to Alexander and Aurora Lake, vampire elders whose privileged existence is about to be challenged when the earth is changed by a solar event.

Forced to flee their home, the Auroras only manage to grab a few provisions, but they are wise/lucky enough to grab one essential item: Sara, their nubile young employee who becomes both a food source (she’s human) and the third member of their ménage à trois (she’s hot & bothered).

So, the trio travels
Cherishing Destiny starts with Destiny hurt and trapped in an obscure cave, who while she heals her wounds dreams/remembers her mother’s memories.

Aurora and Alex, Vampire Elders who have been in love for more than a thousand years... are one night loving each other when they witness a strange Solar Storm where everything changes.

Sara, the lovely human maid, happens to be near the Elders when the house is destroyed and the world changes. All electronic devices are out of order, streets are cover

Cherishing Destiny is the story of a Vamphyr named Destiny who at the beginning starts off with her in a cave healing from some injuries. While she is healing she is remembering how she came to be. Her mother transferred her memories to Destiny when she died.

You get to see the story of her mother and father Alex and Aurora Lake who are Vampire Elders. Vampire were never able to have children when all of the sudden a Solar Storm happened and life as they knew it changed. You get to meet their lo

After the not-so wonderful experience with the previous book I read, I started this book with high hopes, hasn't disappointed. It's one of those books you cannot read at a fast pace, you need to slow down to savor every detail, delight in every scene narrated and slowly make the pictures in your mind of every character portrayed. The supernatural in it is perfect, it took me far away from page one with it's superb descriptions, detailed enough to give me an image without being boring. The charac ...more

Well, where would should I start...This is not your ordinary vampire story. This is the first book of what I hope will be an awesome series. Noelle has taken the vampire story, and she made it different, and it was great. We meet Alex and Aurora, who are vamps and very much in love. We have Ryan, who is a Were. You have Destiny, who is having a memory of her parents, and it seems so real. I enjoyed the story greatly, and it was very different to see vampires have this type of relationship. I can ...more

I received this book as a R2R from the Lovers of Paranormal Group

Stars: 3

Characters: Destiny ; Aurora ; Alex & Ryan

Overall: This is definitely a new kind of vampire book. It kind of reminds me of the show Revolution, but with way more twists and turns. At times, i did find myself a little confused because i felt that their wasn't enough detail. Also the sex was HOT and based on that alone i would recommend this book. I can't wait to read the next book

I received Cherishing Destiny by author Noelle Blakely for free from my Goodreads book club, in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. All thoughts and conclusions are mine, all mine.
A new genre of books has emerged in the post-Twilight era, and in this humble reviewer’s opinion it should be called ‘Twilightian’. Or maybe ‘Twi-stopian’. You decide.
I can only assume that this is because Stephenie Meyers’ Twilight saga had such a profound impact on women writers (and

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my part!

This is a great story with a unique plot and strong characters. This is not like any other regular vampire story. It is truly interesting and a fast-paced that will make you turn the pages at a much faster pace than you usually do!

Cherishing Destiny is about a post apocolyptic time when not just humans but supernatural beings romed the earth, coping with the loss of many and dealing with the trials and tribulations of the ever alterning climate as a result of massive solar flares.

The book started out with a girl in a cave hurt. Not much else is said about this girl and very few chapters mention her in her own pov. The rest of the book mainly focused on the day in a life of two vampires and a human girl who was their comp

Cherishing Destiny by Noelle Blakely

Cherishing Destiny begins with Destiny beaten and left for dead. As she heals, she reflects back upon her heritage. When her vampire mother died, she transferred her memories to her daughter, Destiny, a Vamphyr.

On the night of Destiny’s conception, the world was struck by a solar storm of unexpected intensity. As a result, the world and all within it were forever changed. A tsunami eradicated major cities; there was no longer power or running water in most pla

I was given a copy of this book from the author free of cost, for an honest review. I wanted to really like this book, but I frequently had difficulty determining who was speaking to whom, and kept backtracking to reread statements. The story line was sound, and I found the hook with Destiny injured in the cave to be very intriguing, but would have liked to have had more of her in the story, even if it would have required more than one book to accomplish the same end, as there was a significant ...more

There were things I liked about this book, and things I didn't. The story line was wonderful! I enjoyed the suspense and surprises! The sex scenes were also quite good.

The not of the story seemed to drag out to where I had to put it down for awhile because it was losing my interest. Some topics are not explained well enough either.

Overall, I would recommend this book. It is a great story, but I can only give it 3 stars in all fairness.

I really enjoyed this book. I am very thankful that the author let me read to review. It is about vampires and werewolves, but it had a different take on werewolves which I thought was pretty clever. I don't want to give away too much about the story, but I will say that I would recommend this book and I am excited about the second one! It has some pretty nice sex scenes in it, but not an overwhelming amount. It's overall an excellent book!

I quite enjoyed this intriguing tale of vampires, a new world order and how even the most unlikely of characters can come together to form a family, and aliance, against those who would seek to destroy them. Laced with erotic scenes and a great plot line, I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something outside the tried and true vampire story.

Noelle Blakely resides in the Rocky Mountain state of Colorado and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. She lives quietly with a very patient man and a very spoiled little dog.

Clearly her imagination is vivid and her mind is a little warped. She blames books. Some of her favorite Authors are Stephen King, Kate Elliot, Jacqueline Carey, Frank Herbert, and Clive Barker, just to name a few. So, you c
