Dear Goodreads,

How do I set up auto-buy on Amazon for Robin Bielman? I loved her debut novella, WORTH THE RISK, from Entangled's Ever After imprint, and now I've fallen in love again, with YOURS AT MIDNIGHT. In this latest Ever After, Bielman gives us Quinn Sobel, a heart-melting twist on the tortured hero. He's begun facing up to his painful past and he's ready to break through the emotional barriers he built...especially those around the heroine, Lyric Whetstone. Lyric, however, has some

Too often I come across a book with tonnes of potential that is ruined by its characters. Unfortunately for Yours at Midnight that is what happens. I really liked the plot, it was entertaining (but a little predictable) I thought the writing was ok and it was well structured but everything was ruined by the characters.

To be honest Quinn is not a bad guy, he is sweet, caring and didn’t annoy me all that much. But he is completely unobservant and oblivious, he just didn’t ask questions that a guy

I have recently told you about my discovery that there may be a new emerging trend of New Year's Eve romances and I even read two such novels: Melting the Millionaire's Heart by Linda Morris and Yours at Midnight by Robin Bielman. And despite my hating New Year's Eve I found these stories enchanting, especially Yours at Midnight, which I just LOVED and will definitely keep an eye on Robin Bielman and what stories she will release next.

There were many things I loved about Yours at Midnight: the

My inner romantic is rather partial to a second chance love story and Robin Bielman brings us a captivating journey in Yours at Midnight.

Lyric Whetstone and Quinn Sobel have known each other since they were seven. She never saw him as she was smitten with his twin, Oliver - his twin who died four years previously leading to a night of grief fuelled passion. Quinn left, but now he's back. And it's not long before both he and Lyric realise their feelings run deeper than they imagined.

New Year’s Eve is an important holiday in Lyric Whetstone’s life. Four years ago a car crash on New Year’s took her best friend Oliver Sobel’s life. Then after coming together on a passionate, emotional night his brother Quinn leaves her without a word. Now four years later Quinn is back home, still trying to get over his guilt and grief over his brother’s death and wanting to make amends to the girl he’s always loved.

This was such a cute and fast read. I love stories just like this one. There have been several that have stayed with me throughout the year. This one I liked a lot.
Quinn lost his twin four years ago and has come home to finally deal with that loss and chase the one that got away. He wants to make things right. Quinn is in for the surprise of his life. Lyric has dealt with two losses. Not only Oliver, Quinn's twin, but Quinn himself. He left with no explaination or goodbyes after a very memorable

When this book first came to my attention I found myself dying to read it. I'm a huge fan of tropes where the characters already know each other and this one and once I learned that not only were the hero and heroine longtime neighbors who once had a one night stand and that one of them had always been in love with the other, I quickly jumped at the chance to read. Oh my goodness this book did not disappoint. I know some people had a few

Yours At Midnight.
Yours At Midnight is a romantic novel about Lyric Whetstone and Quinn Sobel. It is a lovely, gentle tale of love and regret and finding love again. It follows the usual format of this genre. It is written by Robin Bielman and published by Entangled Publishing LLC.

My view on the book:

The first thing that struck me when I began reading this book was the very odd name of the heroine - Lyric. Putting that aside I delved into the book and enjoyed reading it. The story was set in the
Quinn has been in love with Lyric for as long as he can remember but she was only ever interested in his twin brother Oliver. Then after Oliver tragically dies in a car accident grief pulls them together and they end up having a passionate one night stand. But Quinn was struggling to cope with the loss of his twin and he blamed himself for Oliver's death so he left town without a word. Four years later and Quinn has returned, he still has feelings for Lyric and wants to both gain her forgiveness ...more

This was such a fun book. I fell in love with both Quinn and Lyric right away. Robin did a great job of developing these characters, especially since this was a novella. I jumped on for the ride and didn't put the book down until it was over (well, maybe once when I had to go to work).

Quinn is a very complicated, yet simple guy. He has come back after four years and wants to right some wrongs. He feels so much guilt and shame over his brother dying in the car accident that Quinn survived. He has

Anyways, last night I finished another book, Yours At Midnight by Robin Bielman. A nice quick read that will get you in the mood for New Years Eve.

I actually loved this quick read and I think the cast of characters really helped with the story. So here are the memorable characters and why they were:

Lyric Whetstone: The heroine with a secret that happen four years. I have to say that it's impressive to keep a secret that long. I don't if I would be

Lyric is hiding a big secret from her family and friends and with Quinn back in town it has been very hard to stay in control of her secret while thinking back to the steamy night 4 years ago. Lyric always had it bad for Quinn's brother Oliver, but after a tragic accident she ended up where she belonged in Quinn's bed! Lyric has waited for Quinn to come home after he disappeared that steamy night 4 years ago when his love enveloped her and she wants answers! Now with Quinn back in town trying to ...more

I adored Yours at Midnight. A lovers reunited story on New Year's Eve? Perfect!

This story one had a twist that was handled beautifully. It was tough subject matter that Ms Bielman handled with heartbreaking emotion.

Quinn is hot and I mean HOT. He's the tortured guy you long to soothe. Lyric is holding on a secret that could blow their worlds apart. She's fun and quirky and the dialogue between Lyric and Quinn is magnetic. As in Worth The Risk, Robin Bielman weaves a sensory story with secondary

4 stars — This book was so easy to fall into and devour…though at times with the secrets, I would flip ahead because I became impatient for my guesses to be confirmed. Truthfully, the whole intentionally keeping the reader in the dark through misdirection thing isn’t actually my favourite, and probably contributed to this not being even higher rated…but that’s a personal taste thing.

In general I really enjoyed both Lyric and Quinn…even if I didn’t always

Oh yes, I am really loving all these short romances. Yours at Midnight is no exception. I really loved this one!

First off, let me say how I am loving the name Lyric. Yes, it’s different, but in a good way. The characters do talk about her name in the book and there is some gripe about it from the main character, but I love it. Anyways, when I first read the synopsis for this, I knew I had to read it because it sounded so good. This was one of those “feel good” stories that is perfect for the

Starting off the new year with this book was the perfect choice! Since this story is set just after Christmas, and right before New Years, it was a no brainer when it came time to choose which book I should begin the new year with. If you're looking for something short and sweet with a heck of a lot of passion, I highly recommend picking up this adult contemporary romance. It has just the right amount of balance between a dramatic story and something light and

Yours at Midnight by Robin Bielman was a deliciously angsty story that hit all my sweet spots. It all started with a crush, a childhood love – of the wrong brother. Lyric and Quinn met as children, but unfortunately for Quinn, it was his brother Oliver, who Lyric wanted. When Oliver died, their grief and guilt lead them to one night together – a night that left them both reeling. Now, a number of years out, Quinn was back.

Quinn and Lyric were both multi-dimensional characters, though Lyric was

In this contemporary romance, Quinn's been half in love with Lyric from the start of their friendship several years earlier but his twin brother Oliver had all her attention until he tragically died in an accident for which Quinn has always blamed himself. Lyric and Quinn had one night together in their shared grief after which Quinn left for 4 years, returning now with his head straight and determined to show Lyric his true feelings for her.

I quite enjoyed this romance though secrets that are

This is the kind of short holiday story that I have always loved. It is a story of second chances and of families and the love that binds them.

Quinn and Lyric are old friends and we soon learn lovers who share something in common, a son, Max, conceived as a result of a one night stand, several years back after the funeral of Quinn's brother Oliver.

I like how Robin took a plot that has been used before and made it new and fun. When we found out who Max's father was, it came as a surprise, though

Yours at Midnight has everything a romance novella should have and it packs a punch for a short format. I fell in love with both Lyric and Quinn, loved the secret, enjoyed the conflict and loved watching them fall in love with each other. 'Yours at midnight' is a fast-paced reading. It is well written and there's obvious chemistry between the hero and heroine. I liked the moments they were together but wish there could've been more.
