This book was much better than the last one, according to me. It revolves on many more characters than the previous two books. I liked the way how the book concentrates even on Brinley and has integrated the story much more in this book. Again, I found a few things predictable. I would rate this book to 2.5 to 3 stars.

I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll happily say it again. This stunning series should be made a tv series. It’s filled with beautiful people, rich characterization, drama, love-triangles, betrayal, new love, scheming, and so much more. I can’t wait to for the next book to be released. I just can’t get enough of this excitingly addictive series and its amazing characters.

My new favorite character, who got a lot more of the spotlight in this book than in the previous ones, is Brooks – Brinley’s g

Two weeks have passed since the events of the Follow the Stars happened, in preparation for the ski trip, Ellie's mum has set her up with Weston Morris, son of someone who could become one of America's most powerful women. Brinley's parents are making her keep her stint in rehab a secret by saying she has mono. Evan is still pretending to be Luke's boyfriend until the ski trip plane ride. Taryn is with Gabe, but he can't DTR (define the relationship) and then there is Brooks who is hanging aroun ...more

So much happens in this book. Some pretty heavy topics are dealt with. (view spoiler) Really enjoyed the ski slope scenes as well as the changing relationships. I feel like I'm really getting to know the characters. My two favorites are Taryn and Brooks. Felt the topic of classism/snobbery was handled ok. L ...more

Weirdly I liked this one better than the last. Brooks and Taryn are so cute. The Weston storyline gave me chills. Brinley's storyline with the townie wasn't as good for me. As usual, Evan is the dullest person alive and really unlikeable.

Another fun installment of the GA series. Waiting on Book 4 now!

Full review

Oh, my! The drama explodes in Georgetown Academy Book 3! This was a fun installment of the series, as most of the action takes place at a ski resort in Vermont. The major players all think that they are going to get a break from the rigors of DC, but guess again, guys! The microscope has followed you all to the slopes, and many of you are going to have the worst vacation ever!

It must be nice to attend a fancy private sch

Skiing! That's what Georgetown Academy: Book 3 is all about. Well, really it's about the character's we've come to know and love going on their annual ski trip to Vermont and all the romantic drama and scandals that follow them there. At this point in the series we're far enough in that we know these characters and have a pretty good idea when they're making mistakes. I love all of these characters so it's interesting to see all of their problems finally coming to a head in Book 3. It's also pro ...more

Some pretty intense things have been happening with a few members of Georgetown Academy's student body, and I was eager to catch up with them and see how they were dealing with their drama. In Georgetown Academy Book Three, secrets are revealed, new dangers are met, and romantic feelings are expressed. There is truly never a dull moment in the world of Georgetown Academy. Escaping the world of D.C., you think that the Vermont ski trip would help alleviate some of the pressure and political play, right? Heck no—the antics are still going strong and provide many laugh out loud and cringe worthy moments.

The four main girls are moving on with their lives. Ellie has met Weston and is trying to move on from Hunter and forget Gabe. Brinley has recovered from her collapse at Follow the Stars, but can she handle the pressure that led her to drugs in the first place? Tary

I've been remiss in not reviewing this earlier, but with book four set to be published tomorrow, along with a Season One four book set to be made available, it's time to write this review. If you're not familiar with the series, Georgetown Academy follows the lives of students at an elite high school in Washington, D.C. where students of those involved in Washington politics attend classes. Told from multiple perspectives, the books provide a fascinating look at how the politics of h

I admit it, these kids have grown on me! Georgetown Academy: Book Three is the best of the lot! Off to ski the powdery slopes of New England, even the purity of the white snow can’t keep trouble from entangling these kids! Ellie’s mom has set her up with Weston Morris, son of an up and coming political powerhouse in D.C. He’s hot, confident, etc., but he has a dark side that has been kept under wraps and covered up for years. Another dangerous Washington scandal swept under the rug in the name o ...more

MY THOUGHTS
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT

***spoilers if you haven't read the first two ***

This series just keeps getting better and better! The crew is headed for skiing in Vermont and a break from the media coverage that has worn down even the most hardcore Washington resident that crave that spotlight. Brinley and her parents have circumvented a disaster by going public with her drug abuse and cleaned her up in rapid time. Now with a therapist in her corner, she gains strength to break away from the stra

My Thoughts:

The Cover: True to Georgetown Academy standards, yet again a shapely pair of legs in front of yet another prominant US landmark, this time the Washington Monument and our beauty is wearing black and boots. I mean, makes sense if it is winter and you are going away on a ski vaca!

The Plot: Wow, this was my fav so far! The drama just keeps getting more and more intense. The plot continues to be awesome, full of surprises, with lots of drama and lots of romance, I tell you. Sometimes th

Book 3 is another brilliant edition to the Georgetown Academy series. The main story, this time, does not play in Washington DC, but all the students find themselves on an annual ski retreat in Stowe, Vermont. Will there be much time for actual skiing or will other affairs be more prominent?

Whereas I read Books 1 and 2 straight after each other, I read a couple of different books in between Books 2 and 3. I was slightly worried that I might not remember the storyline as well, but the authors are

An entertaining read, but everything (except the 'take one for the team/even the score' moment at the end) is just too predictable. I could see the numerous new relationships (no names or spoilers) coming since the first book and the new characters, who I was excited to see, ended up (for now) being left on the ski slopes when the gang returned to Washington D.C.

I also question how the authors are characterizing Brinley...she does some things I would not have expected, and frankly don't find be

Georgetown Academy Book 3- Jessica Koosed Etting and Alyssa Embree Schwartz

It’s Inaugeration Day and what better way to celebrate than with some fictional political drama. I don’t know about you but the fictional kind is much more palatable to me than the real life political drama these days. That being said, Georgetown Academy Book Three JUST came out on January 15th and this time, we’re hitting the slopes. A few weeks have lapsed since the end of Book Two and the Follow the Stars event and the

Book Three keeps the reader on their toes from the beginning until the very end!

This was my favorite Georgetown Academy book! It had the exact same style as the first tow with the story and then an interactive part where you follow one girl's story. But the story for this installment was really good!

By the third book the characters have really come to life and I feel like they blossomed in this third book. They were standing up for themselves and making slightly better choices not only for them but about their friends. I also liked the introduction of some new characters i

Privileged kids from Georgetown Academy go on break at a hotel with skiing, snowboarding, and partying day and night. Getting away from D.C. should be relaxing and fun but some of them find it just as pressure filled as new relationships are formed, alliances and friendships are tested and love blossoms on the slopes.

Ellie, Brooks, Taryn, Hunter, Evan, Gabe, and Brinley will have you flipping the pages and deciding which stories to follow from the females' vantage points as a trip to the emergen

So Winter is coming and the drama never ends, but this time things lots control for a few of those girls and Brinley is still my favorite after everything she did and how much she helped Ellie, who I still think is so damn naïve, that it fells like she let things pass just to be happy for awhile.

I don’t like Taryn and how much she became lost in this relationship with Gabe, because came on can’t she see that it’s clear he likes Ellie and she’s just a fling, but Brooke that actually likes her it’

The Georgetown Academy Series had quickly become one of my newest favorite YA series. Its Pretty Little Liars meets Gossip Girl and I love every minute of it. Book Three in this exciting new series is not a disappointment and is a great addition to this series. This book draws readers into this series and leaving them vested and wanting more.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Book Three continues with all the drama except now it is mostly on the school ski trip. There is a new character, Weston, brought in and at first I thought Yay! But then as the story progressed it was a definite Nay! None of the characters really appeal to me, but I thought maybe for Brooks.

This series has an extreme amount of love triangles, but some of them have finally started to solve. There is also oodles of gossip and politics, whi

Georgetown 3 does not disappoint. Even though the students are away in Vermont the drama definitely follows, along with a few unexpected twists and turns. What I like most about the series so far is that the characters, who all have their share of flaws, are still likable and easy to identify with. In Book Three, we meet a few new (and yummy) characters. I especially loved the dialogue in this book, particularly between Taryn and a certain someone. The drama keeps increasing at Georgetown Academy! I never thought I'd ever like Brinley, but her redemption (well, kind of) made me really like her character. I can see where the authors have derived inspiration from real life events, from the inauguration of the President to even things like the Duke lacrosse team. And they've really nailed the dialog -- I feel like this is just how my girlfriends and I talked in high school. In fact, I've been sending parts to them, and they all just bought it ...more

I love this series and am so excited for book 4.

One of the reasons I bought a Kindle was so I could read these books after all the hype they were given, and I was not let down.

I read books one and two straight after each other and practically counted down the days until Book 3 was released and as soon as it was I couldn't put it down.

I would really recommend this series.
