The Tower Commission investigation the Iran-Contra affair that happened under President Reason. I lived through it and remember it well, including having friends in the service at the time.

I found this book a very thorough account of the investigation but very dry. I love history books but this was worse than reading a text book at times. There was a bit of mental fortitude and suffering required for me to get through it.
