This is an excellent resource for anyone who works in corporate education/training, or for those who are occasionally called upon as a guest instructor or course subject matter expert. Even for the experienced professional, there are a number of helpful tips and reminders that will help you to be a more effective facilitator. I especially liked the chapter that covered how to deal with difficult participants - I plan to review the recommendations here prior to every course I lead to refresh my memory. Like all the books in this ASTD series, this volume is heavy on practical suggestions and useful checklists and job aids, and does not dwell on theory.
