This was a good guide that gives you a taste of different wildflowers that can be found in North America.

A fun fact about this book, the author even mentions some of the folk remedies that some of the plants were used for.

So if you are interested in starting to learn about wildflowers give this book a go.

Published in 2006 this field guide features beautiful photography of about 180 common wildflowers of North America.
In the introduction to the book is a handy glossary as well as sketches of flower types and leaf types.
Along with beautiful photographs are common as well as scientific names of the plants.
The descriptions are comprehensive and a growth area map is included.
