4♥'s, plus a little swoony extra.

This third installment of the series has firmly created a fan of this series, for this reader. I'll admit, after the first Book, The Mystic Wolves, I wasn't sold. Even Forget Me Not, Book #2, it wasn't a done deal. It may have not shined like the gem it is initially, but each book added to the series makes it a diamond in the rough. It may take a little extra effort in the beginning, but it is well worth your reading time if you have a soft spot for swoony shifter romances (that are not pornographic.)

Belinda has finally given me a somewhat cliffy end that hasn't made me cuss. To clairify, previous books are notorious for these hook endings that leave you sending glare daggers at the author (well, had I not read books 1-3 back-to-back, I totally would have been glaring after book #1 and #2) So now, I'm ready for book #4, but won't need to kill anyone for not having it ready right this second.

I received a free eBook from Belinda Boring in exchange for an honest review. I received no monetary gain for my unbiased opinion.

This is one book I have been waiting on since I finished book 2, Forget Me Not. Belinda is not called the Queen of Cliffhangers for nothing. It nearly drove me insane waiting for this book but finally it's live and I dove immediately into it today. And I can say, Belinda has another winner on her hands. I had said prior to getting my little hands on this book, I would savor it and read it nice and slow. Well that was impossible to do. I devoured it and now crave more.

It picked up where we left off in the second book and what a wild rollercoaster ride this book was. Good thing I was left home alone today or I think my family would have thought I was insane talking to the screen and screaming out loud at some parts and of course a few tears shed as well.

I love these characters so much they feel like family to me, Mason, Darcy and especially Devlin (sigh I am so in love with this vampire). I was happy to get a bit of background on Devlin too in this book. But and yes there is a but we again have a monsterous cliffhanger .. okay maybe I am exaggarating a bit but still wow I so didn't expect what she gave us at all. Which is one reason I do love her books so much I can never predict what is going to happen next.

I honestly could ramble on and on , I loved this book and hope this series goes on forever , I wanna see Mason and Darcy have 20 kids... okay that's a bit much but you get the point. Now I have to suffer and wait til book 4 comes which I hope and pray it's not too long...

I was gifted this book from a friend through amazon~~~
Testing Fate by Belinda Boring

It is hard to put how I'm feeling after just reading the ending of this book, but will try anyway. Thoughts like WHAT? HOW? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? OMG? WHO? and WHAT AND WHY come to my mind as I sit here in a book hangover replaying all the events that has happened in Testing Fate. Needless to say this is one of the best and most favorite reads that I have read this year. It is an amazing emotional ride that will test your endurance especially awaiting the 4th book to this series. I bow to the Queen of swoon for the intriguing cliffhangers at the end of her fantastic books. This author simply astounds me at each turn. The author keeps growing and expanding with each book I read and I absolutely will keep reading what she dishes out and most likely I will be in torture each and everytime waiting on the next beloved book of hers. The characters are amazing and I still am in love with how deep I get into her books especially since I feel as if I am there with Darcy and Mason.

Testing Fate picks up where Forget Me Not left off at the end where Amber is on trial for her wrong doings and Mason, Darcy, and Devlin get sweeped to another realm awaiting judgement from the Fates about their involvement into their mating. The Fates make a decision that will put a life and death situation before them or null their mating destiny. Will they rise to the challenge? Will they ever get to be wed? I give this another 5 star swooning review <3

I was fortunate enough to receive a ARC of Testing Fate in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. "Testing Fate brings new meaning to the word swoon!" This was my absolute favorite book that Belinda Boring has ever written. I feel in love with Devlin the Vampire Enforcer from book run and was tolerant of the main character Mason. After reading the book I now can see the love for him that everyone shows I have a newfound respect for Darcy and Mason being soulmates. The story picked up brilliantly from book 2 seamless introduction from page one to the end. Although the emotional rollercoaster that the storyline travelled laid the ground work for the author to be named Temptress of Torture. I had so many emotions invested in the book as I was reading I can only imagine how the author felt writing with all the raw emotions putting to paper. I highly recommend this book to anyone who believes in destiny, loves twists and turns, unexpected reveals and life would not be worth living without a typical Belinda Boring Grand Canyon cliffhanger that leaves you too beg for morsels of next book. P.s. have lots of chocolate on hand to calm your emotional rollercoaster you are about to embark on. Great job on this book anxiously awaiting more in Darcy and Mason's journey.

I was so looking forward to this book and I still can't believe how disappointed I was, the "trials" we're dragged out and seemed more like a filler than any real plot, the wedding went exactly as expected the only good part was the last few pages which hooks you into buying the next book, which I must admit I'll give some serious thought to, when the wedding scene turned out as it did I swore to myself that I wouldn't buy any more books by this author and I nearly didn't finish it I felt so let down but then the ending sucked me back in again, so when the next book comes out I have a decision to make.

I was pulled into this book from the beginning and that is where I stayed until I had finished every single word that was written.
There are surprises all the way through this story, some are large and some are small, some you may see coming while others will hit you in the face. But each and everyone hold equal importance with in the book, helping to make the book one hell of a read.
Emotoins run rife throughout the book and I felt each and everyone of them, doesn't matter which character it was. I will hold my hands up, be honest and tell you that I cried at a couple of times during the course of the book. But to me if a author can make me cry while I am reading their book then they had done one heck of a job in making me feel those emotions.
I highly recommend this book, if you like shifter books then you need to read this story.
It is one of my favourite shifter books/series I have read.

This is the first series of Belinda Boring's that I have read. The characters are lovable. There is action, suspense, drama, and of course swoon worthy moments. I would classify this as NA, no full on love scenes, but will definitely get you hot and bothered. There are also some gore filled scenes too, but what else would you expect from Wolves, Vamps and Witches fighting for what is theirs?

Why did I only give it 4 stars? All of the books I have read so far on Amazon still need more editing. It isn't so much that it is unreadable, but it is noticeable. If not for that, it would have a 5 star from me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Testing Fate raises the bar with its mythical trial structure, pulling Darcy into a brutal test of heart, courage, and destiny. The stakes feel genuinely dire, and the isolated setting amps up the vulnerability and suspense. With Mason absent and Devlin by her side, this entry shifts slightly into a spiritual and psychological survival story. It’s intense, emotionally resonant, and does an excellent job of showing Darcy’s personal growth. The worldbuilding also deepens, giving this installment a richer fantasy feel.

Not worth the time invested. Thought everything would settle down after the events with Amber and another of these wolves would get a story.
Nope, more crap is thrown at these two and about a third of the way in I lost the will to keep reading.
Having read the first book years ago I always wanted to see what happened so grabbed the box set. Big mistake. Won’t even be reading the last book.

Book 3 in The Mystic Wolves series; these must be read in order.

TESTING FATE picks up exactly where FORGET ME NOT leaves off.

I am late posting this, because I just could not force myself to read it too quickly. I wanted to savor every word, live every moment with these characters.

From the very first paragraph of this story, the action was pushing me along. I was holding my breath with Darcy at the disorientation of being removed from the courtroom and landing in the home of the Fates. Even though Klothos admits that she guided their dreams and that neither Darcy nor Mason asked for her intervention, the other two Fates demand that Darcy and Mason be tested to prove that their love was destined. They are sentenced to Heart or Death, a series of trials to determine their resolve and their character. The Fates seem capricious, and honestly, life is unpredictable at times so that should be no surprise. First there is the insistence that Darcy and Mason prove themselves, when they didn't instigate this situation. Then they are told they must complete the trials with no memory of each other – therefore, not knowing why they are going through these tests, just that they must. The final blow is when they are stripped of their wolves and must face it all as humans. I won't go any further, because I don't want to spoil anything for you, but I will say it is all worth it.

Then there is the ending. That is a real WTF moment! Ms. Boring has been called the queen of cliffhangers. She is, and we are all her willing masochists. I know I am willing because her stories must be read. I need to know what happens next. Thank God I have the next book and the Christmas novella already in my little hands. Expect those reviews to be posted soon.

Favorite Lines “Memories are but thoughts. You don’t carry me in your mind; you keep me here, buried deep within. You may not remember, but your heart will never forget.” Mason cocked his head and offered me a tender smile. “Mine won’t ever forget. You have been a part of me since the first time I met you. You’re ingrained into my very soul. No amount of magic or ancient power can destroy that.” A stray tear escaped and rolled down my cheek, only to be captured by Mason’s thumb. “Have faith in us. Have faith that we are bigger than all of this.”

“Love.” It was just one word, but it meant the world. Pride shone from Devlin’s eyes when I looked at him and grinned. “Not just any love, but true love; the kind where you’re willing to walk through the refiner’s fire over and over again for, the kind that keeps you going, even though every part of you screams to give up.”

“I’m also yours. Completely. You’ve owned my heart from that first moment I saw you and it beats solely for you. I’m at your bidding, Darcy. It’s you and me together, forever, always.”

“Right here, right now . . . just us.”

Good Lord! What else will this fabulous couple have to go through! When will EVERYONE get there are meant to be mates and more importantly SO IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER!!! I mean REALLY!?!?

So is it love and fate, or isn't it? Amber's accusation at the end of book 2, that Darcy used magic to steal Mason from her has led to more complications and puts at risk their plan to mate. Nathan's betrayal may just be the loophole that gets Amber off, and calls into question the legitimacy of Darcy and Mason's soul mate bond.

To help decide whether or not Darcy and Mason truly are soul mates, the Fates decide to put them through a series of tests. The tests may vary. From gauging their integrity to their dedication to their physical and emotional strengths. If pushed to the limits, will they give up or forge on. If given the choice to choose a path, will they choose the correct one. The one thing I did like about the tests was that it gave more insight into the characters' pasts. The one thing I did not like is that we did not get much about Mason's point of view. It was all Darcy. Perhaps that was intentional because she was the one who was accused of tampering with fate, although they both had the dream. I would have at least liked to have known if his tasks were similar and the only difference was the choice he spoke of in the book.

Moving on...just when Darcy and Mason think they have succeeded and they can move forward with their mating ceremony, Amber strikes again. Wow, talk about stalking....so is it love? Hmm. Things finally come to a head and luckily, our favorite couple gets past their latest challenge and we get the answer to the following questions:

1) will they ever mate AND
2) is Amber finally out of the picture AND
3) what the heck was Nathan's involvement

Then the bloody cliffhanger! But wait, at least with this one...I gotta say that my first reaction was "YES! Finally!" I now know what the deal is with Devlin and Darcy. And my second reaction was "aww hell, where the heck is the next book!?!"

Darcy and Mason and ready for their wedding. They have been engaged for almost a year, as required by the council and once they get through with Amber's trial it will be time for their wedding. They are ready for some good after the trouble they have had recently. Only problem, Amber is not about to go away quietly. She has one more trick up her sleeve at the trial, she claims that Darcy tampered with fate.

The fates are called to the trial to answer the question of whether Darcy tampered with them and her meeting of Mason. She did not, but one of the fates did promote the meeting between Darcy and Mason. Darcy and Mason are whisked off to the land of the fates and their they are told they will have to be tested to prove that the tampering by the fate did not change anything. Even though they did nothing wrong. They agree and the testing begins.

The testing wipes away their memories and they have to fight through some challenges without knowing why they were sent there to fight for. Even though neither can remember what they are fighting for, they know it has to be big if they are doing this test, so they push on and survive. On to the wedding, which of course can not go smoothly!

This whole series has been a testament to the power and strength of true love. Mason and Darcy have been able to overcome any thing and everything that has been thrown at them, and their love and trust in one another has not been shaken. Remember this is a couple that still has not consummated their relationship, they haven't taken it to that level and yet they have a stronger relationship than most relationship today.

I have related to the characters. I have felt for them and with them. I have cried and laughed. I have screamed with joy and pain. This has been an all encompassing story in these three books to date that I am happy to have read and can't wait to continue.

So far out of the series this was probably my favorite. Yes it started out rocky but concluded I believe on a high note.
I would have liked to get Mason's point of view during his trials but I think it worked as well just to get Darcy's. I did call it though with who was Mason's companion how could you not.
I really enjoyed learning more about Darcy and Devlin's characters. There connection is just great. And that big twist at the end I did not even see that coming. I knew there probably was more but that I did not expect. I did like getting to know more about Darcy before she met Mason. Though she has not changed I liked seeing her interact with her old friend.
I really liked the meaning behind this book. Love is all you need to know. Even if you lose the memories some how you are able to over come and continue on.
I loved the story of how Devlin and Darcy first met. So very cute to see her as a child. You don't often get to see those types in stories like this. Everything in this story connected. It flowed well. I was angry at parts, sad, and happy at other times.
Belinda always grabs me in and makes me want more. This book was the breaking point of showing that what Darcy and Mason have faced so far is nothing to what they are about to face.
I know they can over come it though and I look forward to finding out more about this prophecy and how Darcy plays into it.
I also missed Daniel in this story. He was only near the end but he also had his presence known. Also have Darcy's parents show up was a great thing too. Although I am questioning that now from the twist at the end. Darcy has some things coming to her and as a reader I can't wait to open the next one to read. Which seeing how I have read the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and the last three days, I can imagine I will be caught up in the next two days.

'Testing Fate' is the long awaited third book for the Mystic Wolves series and Belinda Boring does not disappoint! This author has a magical way of writing that draws you straight into the pages and you get lost in the story. That's what I love the most about this book! A story that you can get lost in. A story that allows you to become a part of it. It draws emotions from you whether you want to sigh at the romantic parts or gasp and yell and throw the pages to the walls at the dramatic parts.
Belinda Boring picks up right where we left off and continues us on this journey with the Mystic Wolves pack alpha and his mate. What we get is a suspenseful book with many twists and turns that you never see coming your way! She has some surprises in there for you that you are not going to want to miss out on! She drops a ball of suspense on you that leaves you breathless!
Darcy and Mason are about to battle for all that is important to them. They have a test against all that they want, but passing this may be the biggest challenge their love has ever been against!! There are times when all seems lost and the author brings our Darcy to the brim of loss...will they survive this? Will the test of fate even matter? Mystic Wolves fans will get all your questions answered, but prepare yourself for the writing of the Queen of Torture...she will bring more questions to the forefront for you. You will want more! Always more! She takes you on another adventure filled with magic! She keeps getting better and better! I can't say I'm surprised!"

Would you be strong enough to test fate and go through life or death challenges for the man you love? In Testing Fate, Darcy takes on the refiner’s fire without question. Her memories are stripped that contain Mason and the Fates even remove her wolf so she is human. Will she be strong enough to live through the Heart or Death? Will Darcy and Mason be reunited to finally live their life together?

Belinda Boring has had me captured with Mason and Darcy’s story since Book 1, The Mystic Wolves. I have enjoyed reading this series. Belinda is the ultimate Queen of Swoon. She creates such passion and desire between Darcy and Mason. She can take a simple thing as a glance between the two and make is swoon worthy.

I won’t spoil the ending for you all. But if you all know Belinda Boring, she is the Queen of Cliffhangers. I was left with the following going through my mind:

Holy Cow! How can that be? How can a person be both? How does he fit in to Darcy’s past? How can that happen? Someone has some explaining to do!

Sorry to be so cryptic but I can’t exactly tell you all the details. I would ruin it for you. I can’t wait for Book 4, Forever Changed, to find out my answers.

On a side note, Devlin has always been Darcy’s friend. He has always been one of my favorite supporting characters of the series. He is a vampire and an Enforcer. We only get bit and pieces of his story throughout the series. Belinda, I do believe we need a whole series of Devlin. He is just too yummy not to give us his story. *wink *wink *hint *hint

Finally!!! That was my first reaction when I finished this book, but then my second reaction came barreling down on me and all I could do was stare at those last few sentences in shock.

Testing Fate picks up right where the last book left off at the end of Amber’s trial. Darcy was accused of tampering with destiny in order to stake a claim on the alpha of The Mystic Wolves pack. To solve the issue of whether or not Mason and Darcy are actually meant to be mated the Fates decide that they have to prove their worth by completing a bunch of challenges. The big question is will they be able to rise to the challenge? Will they finally be mated? Well, guess what … you’ll finally get the answers in this awesome book.

Testing Fate kept me at the edge of my seat and completely absorbed. I thoroughly enjoyed getting peeks into Darcy’s past. It really broadened her character and made me love the person she is even more.

The only thing I would have really liked to see was Mason POV. I didn’t really expect to get it since all the previous books were solely in Darcy’s POV but I really would have liked it. I wanted to see his struggles and how he handled each test.

In the end, this was the best book so far and I’m so glad I read it. It ended with an awesome cliffhanger that has me dying to start the next book. If you are looking for a sweet romance with action and werewolves thrown in, then you need to check out The Mystic Wolves series. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Oh. My. God. This book was excellent! It picks up right where book two's ~cliffhanger~ left off. Mason and Darcy show such strength, loyalty, determination, and love in this book. Just when you think they can't be any more perfect, or perfect for each other, they show you right up! I am becoming so very attached to all of these characters. This story had so much action, suspense, and romance it blew my mind! The beginning was so inventive and imaginative, it kept me extremely intrigued. They go through so much, and things are finally looking up, then BAM, another obstacle! Finally, things are moving along perfectly, as they should be, and BAM, another of Belinda's notorious cliffhangers! The writing and story flowed very well, and kept me reading way past my bedtime. All the suspense definitely kept me on edge. There were some parts that had me crying happy tears, and the scenes were so perfectly written. The ending, oh, what can I say?!! A HUGE, shocking, CLIFFHANGER!! It leaves you breathlessly saying "WHAT?!!" And then "No, that is NOT the end! AAAHHH!" Yep, she leaves us painfully hanging again, cursing about having to wait for the next book! Belinda must think she's so funny torturing us like this!! So, as you can tell, I am more than ready and impatiently waiting for book 4!!

I'm a huge massive fan of this series and each one gets better and better. The Mystic Wolves series is one of my all time favorite paranormal series.

Testing Fate has reduced me to tears, laughter and more tears. We left off with Forget Me Not that completely and utterly left me in a up roar by the end where Mason, Darcy and Devlin are transported to another place.

Testing Fate immediately starts off exactly where it left off. Darcy, Mason as well as my very favorite vampire Devlin having to go on a 'mission' of sorts to test their actual bonding as mates. They are put through the wringer with each test. Here's the beauty of this roller coaster ride, it almost reads like a poem if this makes any sense at all. The story is woven so absolutely perfectly and you can't help but feel that you're apart of their journey. It's emotional, heartfelt and Bels kills me at the end.

I already loved Mason, but Testing Fate made me love him all the more.

There's a reason that Belinda Boring is known as the Queen of Swoon, there's no shortage of it in Testing Fate. There should be no question as to if you should read it. It's a pick up and devour story that will leave you gasping, crying and flailing your arms by the end, or pounding the pavement to her front door. Just know that whatever is in store for our very favorite couple it's sure to be good!

Darcy INDEED! Darcy has put up with a lot over the Mystic Wolves Series and now she has to prove her love and that she was meant to be with Mason. Of course how angry were we when Amber came in Forget Me Not to stir the pot. I tell you that woman deserved to be slapped.

Of course what is Mystic Wolves book with out Devlin?! His supportive role with Darcy through out her tests of fate was amazing. You can tell an internal struggle with Devlin was occurring. He wanted her to succeed but at the same time protect her from what she would endure. I would be lying if I didn't admit that I am totally a Team Devlin gal!

Mason was pretty much MIA for a good part of the book. I was on my toes wondering what the fates had in mind for him and not knowing what he was going through was HARD! I wanted to know who was his partner, what did he have to do, what were his tests. We get to know later, but I was a bit antsy.

This book is definitely a focus on Darcy and her transformation from one who feel the pressure of being the leaders mate to one who embraces it! The ending is amazing and of course leaves you with a *gasp* and a frantic run to buy the next book to see what will happen!!

Mason and Darcy have been to hell and back to be together. Their relationship has survived the death of Mason's sister, Jasmine, who was also Darcy's best friend. Darcy being kidnapped by a power hungry vampire only to be threatened, stalked and spelled by Mason's psychotic ex. They are about to face their most challenging test yet, this time more than mere hearts are on the line.

Darcy is separated from Mason, her memories wiped and her soul is put to the test. She's not alone though. Mason faces the same challenges and they are allowed one person to assist them on their journey. Darcy's vampire enforcer is never far from her side, so Devlin accompanies her. Boring tugs at your heartstrings with Mason's companion, but it's perfectly beautiful. There is only one question that must be answered, are they truly fated to be mates?

The Queen of Swoon has done it again! No one else can describe a kiss with such perfection. I was very pleased that Boring tied up some loose ends and created another teaser to keep us aching for the next installment in Mason and Darcy's story. If you haven't read this series my only question is, why not? Boring deftly earns her title, romance fans rejoice!

FINALLY!!!!!! Finally we are getting somewhere. After the turmoil that have been a never ending roller coaster over the past two books we are finally making some headway. Mason and Darcy will sell the deal here not only with a wedding, but proving that even without the assistance of supernatural powers they are soul mates and fated to be together. I love Mason and Darcy. Darcy is courageous and daring heroine. I was exceptionally pleased to she her taking her rightful place as a powerful alpha's mate in this book. No more meek and mild Darcy, but rather a calm partner until provoked. This was a nice change. Mason on the other hand is the same amazingly hunky alpha that he has always been. Although, it was nice to see the Jasmine issue resolved. No longer hiding, and dealt with so that it will no longer hinder their future. As always the Mystic Wolves installments are never very long, but it is always well worth the time reading. I love this series, a wonderful addition to werewolf genre to say the least. It looks like I still have one more before I am caught up with this series, so be on the lookout for that review to come.

Where do I begin! I had been waiting for this book for a while. Belinda Boring was fantastic. It was worth the wait! I was lucky enough that when I read “Mystic Wolves (1)” I was able to get “Forget Me Not (2)” quickly. Boring leaves cliffhangers that make you want to slap your momma or whoever is close by. “Testing Fate” was no different. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole book. I love Mason and Darcy. And please let’s don’t forget the unbelievable Devlin. How can you go wrong with sexy werewolves and a sexy, mysterious vampire! These are not by far the only interesting and amazing characters in this series.
Mason and Darcy have faced trial after trial in their relationship. I love that Boring writes them as strong and determined characters. Love does conquer all but not without blood, sweat, and tears. By now, you all know that I love books that emotional stir me. Boring take me along all the emotional I love. I laughed and cried. I wanted slap somebody and kiss somebody. This book is a must read. If you haven’t read any in this series, please pick them up. You will not be disappointed.

This book is very different from the first two. Bringing in the three Fates, another realm, and the entire topic of destiny and soul mates was a great set-up for the pure love and adoration shown between Mason and Darcy. I found myself tearing up in certain parts. Such purity of emotion. When one of the Fates admits to interfering, the most romantic couple in werewolf books are thrown into a whirlwind of going back to the past and righting wrongs.

This must have been an emotional roller coaster to write because it shows in the writing. Such passion and emotion. The past of both Darcy and Mason is shown and we learn more about Devlin (could he not be anymore PERFECT?). Again, the author tortures us with a cliffhanger ending. I imagine Ms. Boring typing, wiping her tears, curling her toes, and wringing her hands, uttering "mwahaha!" Now I have to wait for the next Mystic Wolves installment. My question is: when? And I have to send a shout-out to Regina Wamba of Mae I Design for creating the ultimate Darcy and Mason covers. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE them! (http://www.readergirlsblog.com/2013/0...)

Testing Fate picks up right where Forget Me Not left off...that bat crap crazy Amber is locked away and
Darcy and Mason are facing the Heart and Death challenge to prove to The Fates that they truly are destined to be together. Not only are they separated while completing their respective challenges their memories of each other are wiped clean as well. I think a little piece of me died inside witnessing that part. Belinda however, did bring that piece back to life...how she did it is for me to know and you to read :-p
As the third book in the series I find myself just as in love with it as I was the first one. Belinda has a way of bringing you into her magical world of werewolves, vampires, witches, and fates and she allows you to get lost in the pages with such flawless descriptions of the characters and their surroundings you can close your eyes and imagine you're there. Three books in and I'm still hooked and eagerly awaiting the next book Forever Changed...another paranormal twist is found out at the end of Testing Fate and I can't wait to see how it all comes together!!!

I don’t even know what to say except WOW!!

Testing Fate picks up right where book two left us and if you have read any of Belinda’s books then you know what a rollercoaster ride of emotions she takes us on. And I for one am so glad nobody was home to hear me yell and scream then cry in parts of this book.

I am so obsessed with Mason, Darcy, and Devlin. There is just something about those three. I love them and wait very impatiently for the next book of this series and this one was no different. I say every time I am going to take my time and then I download the book and devour it in one sitting which I did yet again.

I am not going to say much about this book as I know I will give a spoiler or two away as I love this book from page one all the way to the very last word. But I will say that Belinda is known as the Queen of Swoon and Cliffhangers for a reason and this book is no different. If at all possible she has made me fall even more in love with her world and the characters she has created. Now I am left with waiting for the next book.

I’m TEMPORARILY calling off the lynch mob... for now. After finishing Testing Fate, I have a few monikers of my own for the “Queen of Swoon”:
Sire of Suspense
Countess of Cliffhanger
Administer of Emotional Torture
But all kidding aside, I’m very happy with this latest installment of the Mystic Wolves. Once again, Belinda Boring did not screw around by going straight to the meat of the story and leaving out any unnecessary filler or fluff.

Though never fear, the Queen of the Cliffhanger will continue her rein, but Miss Boring did me right this time. I felt the conclusion in this book, and the cliffhanger were not nearly as death defying as those in the past. I’m actually extremely excited for what’s next in store for Mason and Darcy!

5 flipping fairies!

I was curious about the trials that Darcy and Mason had to go through. It was not at all what I expected. I felt somewhat let down in that regard. I did like the background information that was learned through the story, but I felt kinda let down. I also thought the story would have been more gripping by telling Mason's side of the trials in conjunction with Darcys. I found myself skimming the wedding plans, too many details for me. They seemed to drag on and on. I kinda saw something like what happened at the end coming. I don't know if I will read the next book. This book was okay, but not one I would shout about from rooftops. This is definitely not a reread for me, but I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying it out. Quick and easy read. 2.5-3 stars
