Nothing Goes Away is lush, full of the rich sensory detail readers of Angela's blog, Tread Softly, have come to expect.

Angela Amman's writing is lyrical, powerful, and truly wonderful. I love how much psychology and intense emotion--sometimes disturbing emotion--she packs into a short tale.

These are powerful short stories, each about women facing difficult life situations, from eating disorders to divorce. Mrs. Amman has crafted characters who are strong despite their obstacles (and because of their obstacles). I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Angela Amman's short stories are raw and gripping, desolate and gorgeous. The characters haunted me long after I closed the book and put it aside. I almost ended up one of her women. I recognized who I could have been between the lines. A collection of stories that are a bargain. Worth every penny.

Okay...

Was an okay collection of short stories. Read better, but have definitely read worse. Just not quite exciting enough for my taste.
