This is the perfect retelling story of the Little Red Riding Hood. A wolf outsmarts Little Red Riding Hood and beats her to her grandmothers house where he eats her grandma. When she arrives, he eats her. He is so full/fat he falls asleep and a woodchopper hears him snoring. He finds the wolf sleeping in her bed and decides to cut the wolfs stomach open to save them. They then fill the wolfs stomach with rocks so he never eats anyone else.

I really liked this version of Little Red Riding Hood because of the ending it was a different one that I have never heard before. The illustrations were very fun to look at and helped a lot with picturing the story!

This is an utterly charming retelling. It's delightfully illustrated, made me laugh several times, and the children love it!

The book “Little Red Riding Hood” by Mike Gordon is a traditional picture book that is considered a classic. The text is a clear and easy fun read, and it is interesting because the main character also sometimes has speech blurbs that isn't necessarily a part of the text. The illustrations are bright and playful to keep the reader engaged and interested. The illustrations match the text, so without one or the other, it wouldn't be impossible to infer what is going on.

The pictures have detailed t

Little Red Riding Hood is the classic fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood’s journey through the woods as she goes to visit grandma. Along her journey, Little Red Riding Hood meets the Big Bad Wolf, who then disguises himself as grandma to try and eat Little Red Riding Hood.

This was a great revisit to the classic story. The book has a lot of illustrated pictures to help you with your imagination of the story.

This book has been used with 6-7 year olds and used several ways in the classroom. It

The classic story of Little Red Riding Hood rings true in this easy reader format for grades K-2. The cartoon illustrations by Mike Gordon add to the whimsy of the book, complete with side comments in conversation bubbles by Little Red and the Wolf. Additional sound effects are included throughout the story. Little Red Riding Hood thinks fast at the conclusion of the story, filling the wolf with stones after the woodcutter saves the day. This protects everyone from a similar experience, resultin ...more

I have read so many different versions of Red Riding-hood that it's such a pleasure reading an un-Disneyfied version of events. A good reading book for children reading in Afrikaans. Some words may be a bit difficult to understand for FAL or SAL learners.

Traditional story of little red riding hood. Great pictures and fairly easy to read for lower elementary.
