I bought this on a visit to the Shard, soon after it opened. A useful guide to the ideas that brought it about, the architect Renzo Piano, the construction, useful facts (glazing to cover eight football pitches, 200 miles of wiring…) and a 360° set of photographs pointing out all that can be seen on a clear day.
