Wild Weather by Warren Faidley teaches the reader about monsoons, tsunamis, blizzards, mirages, and more. It allows the reader to investigate the wildest and the worst weather with a real storm chaser. It has types of print that allows the reader to easily determine the words that stand out. These include larger text, italics and bold print.

The genre of this book is nonfiction and is intended for children ages (I) eight to twelve. Children are sure to love this book if they enjoy learning about clouds, thunderstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, or anything else dealing with weather. Most of the pictures are real photographs, showing incredible pictures of tornadoes, lightening, and more! There are some interactive pages such as lifting flaps, and flipping pages to see cause and effect pictures. This book is for older children, since it ...more
