I am still not entirely sure what to think about this book which is odd because ordinarily I would have fairly firm opinions one way or the other. It is a gentle introduction to the use of weapons but I didn't think it was (a) all that comprehensive (b) or used pictures and illustrations all that well. I understand that it is difficult to portray the specifics of techniques in a series of photos, but this really does struggle to make it easy to understand. Nice short overview of the use of weapons (boken, jo and tanto) in aikido. Contains reasonable clear pictures and some (solo) exercises.
