A complete guide of what to eat, very focused on healing psoriasis but at the end it can help in any health issue. Really nice if you live in NYC since Deirdre gives a complete list of grocery stores and even restaurants to visit, not very useful if your are not in that place. But is a very useful book to keep on your night table and remind yourself of the power of food for your body. Nice tips and easy to follow.
Super quick to read. Lots of good advice about how to eat a healthy diet. She includes lists of what she keeps in her fridge and pantry. She has a common-sense approach to changing eating habits, that we shouldn't feel we have to do it perfectly.
This book is just a rehash of macrobiotices which may help some but not anyone who doesn't do well with soy products that are a part of the macrobiotic diet. Don't waste your money.
