this book was helpful for me in terms of learning about the disability rights movement in the usa in the later half of the 1900's. it is awesome how much happened in the bay area of california. and interesting how the new york city bus system was somewhat inspired by seattle's bus system.

important to know the legacy of our history and also the history of how laws were developed to protect the rights of people with disabilities. i liked that at least one of the authors was present for some of the protests that were documented in the book.
