Ladies if you are single, and you want to know what God thinks of you, read this book. It will let you know that you are not alone. You are human yes, but you want to be a woman of God, and not of the flesh.
I was pleasantly suprised at how much i liked this book. It was preachy, but not judgemental. The introduction was the best part for me. The author acknowledged that you are a whole person when you're singe (as opposed to someone who will be "complete" once they marry) which many preachers don't acknowledge in my opinion. I liked that the book didn't just deal with romantic relationships, but instead touched on friendships as well. I was a bit disapointed that the discussions weren't in-depth, but merely a bible verse and a short paragraph of explanation, but it is still thought provoking and worth the quick read for any single sistas struggling!
I don't identify as Christian, and I didn't agree with everything in the book. That said, there is a lot of value in here, and many of the affirmations touched me deeply. Definitely worth reading if you're a single woman tripping about her status.
This book was good. Being that everybody goes through tough times, I think this book is wonderful reminder of the promises God has for us if we give of ourselves and trust him with our lives!
This is the ultimate book for women who are single or in a lost relationship, this book has opened my eyes to Gods purpose in my life.... Love this book and I love TD Jakes
I'm glad I read this book because it reinforced a lot of things I was learning from the Bible and from YouTube videos about this topic of a single Christian woman. I recommend it as a quick read to help encourage single female christians to keep striving towards God :)
I am thankful I read this book. So slender, so potent. It doesn't overwhelm you with the number of words but it will grant clarity for each realm of your life predominant in a single woman's life.
