This book's locale is the Greek Island of Mykonos and its neighboring island, the sacred archeological site of Delos. The book was compared favorably on a Mary Stewart site to Mary Stewart's classic Greek romantic thrillers from the 1950s and 1960s such as My Brother Michael and The Moon-Spinners, and I found it every bit as good.

This book, which takes place on the Greek island of Mykenos, is an oldie but goodie in the tradition of Mary Stewart. It's very suspenseful as the English girl searches for her missing twin sister not knowing who to trust. The scenery and the Greek people are well drawn. I'll be looking for more books by this author!
