Not for beginners

This book focuses on perfecting your very good facial drawing skills with shading, exploring more depth and definition, and making beginners want to say, "should I just quit drawing, because my people still look deformed with ears on their chins."
So if you're new and don't want to break all your pencils, burn your drawing paper and cry, pass on this. I will say the author did fill me with inspiration, only to never ever try anything creative ever again, and embrace depression.

I use to be really good at drawing and then stopped for along time. This book is very good. Amazing instructions especially on how to shade in order to make photos look real. The only negative may be the teaching tool he uses. He uses graphs and as much as it helps i think most people would like to just draw without making a graph and then erasing it. For now this is one of the best books for sketching i have come across.
