Macroeconomics

Rate this book
The integrated solutions for Colander's "Macroeconomics" 9e have been specifically designed to help today's students succeed in the principles of economics course. Colander's trademark colloquial approach focuses on modern economics, institutions, history, and modeling, and is organized around learning objectives to make it easier for students to understand the material and for instructors to build assignments within Connect Plus. McGraw-Hill's adaptive learning component, LearnSmart, provides assignable modules that help students master core topics. Significant improvements in pedagogy such as reworked end-of-chapter problems, seamless integration within the Connect Plus eBook, and instant feedback on assignments will engage students in the ninth edition like never before and instill the "economic sensibility" necessary to apply economic concepts to the real world.

I prefer the Samuelson Economics book over this one. But Colander's Macroeconomics came through for me too. It's more graphic.

Okay, freaking boring book, but actually learned quite a bit, especially during these hard economic times. More economic concepts make sense and I find it great that I can understand more of what is happening and why. So, despite boring, it taught me some stuff. Yeah for school.

Considering that I HAD to read this, I was pleasantly surprised at what a smooth read this was. Instead of super dry, dreaded reading for class, the author wrote with a sense of humor, as well as reality.

This is one of the best textbooks I have had to read.
