I have to admit that I have not read this entire book from cover to cover. At over 700 pages and lacking a plot, that would be quite an undertaking, even for a book geek like me. However, it is a fantastic reference source. It gives descriptions of all sorts of tools and gadgets. There are a lot of simple but clear illustrations too. This book would make a really great gift for someone just starting out in their first home away from their parents and especially for someone who just bought a place of their own.

Best handy guide to the names & purposes for all those quirky hardware pieces. Gives recommendations of what to use for which purpose. A must for the Handy person, as well as the clueless.
