This is a decent book covering a lot of the ins and outs of growing orchids, from the history and naming of different genera of orchids (a surprising large number!) to full illustrations and guidelines for making special places to grow your orchids. Light levels, humidity, and temperature are particularly important, more than I thought, since I had only been familiar with the variety commonly stocked in home improvement stores that presumably need minimal extra attention over normal houseplants.

A good starter guide for beginners, but even the internet would probably be better for "all" about growing orchids.
