Definitely written for a younger crowd but a good quick read that gives enough information. I’ve heard bits and pieces about Eva but this has me interested in learning more.

This is a book that I picked up at a Library book sale. It is a book written for the educational/school market. That said, I think it detailed the key points in her life well. It was written as a informational book, so there is no opinions or judgements in the book. Great book for someone that is starting their research on Eva Peron.

Saw the play Evita, recently, so wanted to read up on Eva Peron. This book is a for mid-teens so was an easy, and quick read. However, I found it interesting and informational. Was pleased to learn that the play provided an accurate presentation of Eva Peron's life. Made me glad I live in a country where the military doesn't take over very few months, or years.

A very good children's biography on Argentina's most famous first lady. Stille does a fabulous job attempting to pull fact out of Peron's shrouded history while maintaining they mystery that is Evita. The language and helpful glossary and timeline at the end of the book will aide children in understanding a vital part of Argentina's history
