Absolutely appalling, starting with the title. My (Australian) cover was even uglier, with a plain woman with a hairstyle straight from 1998 staring at the floor.
The premise is absurd: a midwife virgin has somehow had three children: one by her husband, and two surrogates.
Meanwhile the father of one of her surrogate children wants to bang her.
The only interesting thing, a medical mystery involving a woman that can't be identified, is never resolved.
I wish I could get my 30 minutes back.

Sam dan Molly akhirnya bertemu setelah sekian lamanya. Pertemuan terakhir mereka terjadi saat Molly melahirkan seorang bayi laki-laki untuk Sam dan Crystal. Molly meman menjadi "ibu perut" bagi Jack, anak Sam. Hal itu bukan pertama kalinya bagi Molly. Dia pernah melakukannya sebelumnya, dan melahirkan bayi perempuan bernama Laura. Berbeda dengan Laura yang masih sering ditemuinya, Molly tidak diizinkan untuk bertemu dengan Jack. Tapi pertemuannya dengan Sam kali ini memberi harapan bagi Molly untuk bisa bertemu dengan Jack.
Sam sendiri adalah seorang dokter kandungan. Dia pun tidak menyangka akan bertemu kembali dengan Molly, bidan cantik yang bersedia menjadi ibu bagi anaknya. Sam pada dasarnya tidak ingin memisahkam Jack dengan Molly, tapi Crystal berkehendak lain. Kini sepeninggal istrinya yang tewas dalam kecelakaan bersama selingkuhannya, Sam merasakan getaran yang berbeda saat bertemu dengan Molly.
Sam dan Molly memang saling tertarik satu sama lain. Hanya saja kondisi membuat keduanya sangat canggung. Untungnya Molly mempunyai keberanian untuk berinisiatif membangun hubungan dengan Sam. Justru Sam yang kayak orang linglung dalam menerima perasaannya sendiri maupun perasaan Molly. Bikin gregetan deh Sam ini.
Bagian lain yang menarik dalam novel ini adalah suasana rumah sakit, khususnya bagian persalinan. Soalnya tokohnya dua2nya profesinya memang berhubungan dengan itu. Menyenangkan bisa membaca medical romance lagi.

This is a really sweet read with a hero who is a nice guy,a great doctor and a good father.
Sam and widow Molly connected four years ago when she was the surrogate for Sam and his wife Crystal in a last ditch attempt to save their marriage.
Now Crystal is dead and Sam is a single dad. This is a nice take on a relationship that is born over something that is essentially a very intimate connection, even though the child Jake is genetically not Molly's.
It is lovely to see how they deal with this renewal of the relationship under very different circumstances and Sam is just amazing when he discovers Molly's secret.
Of course with all the baggage both of them carry, there will be problems, but I liked the way they ended up sorting things out for a very sweet ending.
I particularly liked the fact that Sam is a hot virile guy but didn't run around after his wife's demise.

Saya menyukai cerita dalam buku ini, walaupun sulit untuk membayangkan bagaimana perasaan Molly yg menjadi ibu perut, bagi anak2 orang lain.
Dalam buku ini di lukiskan bagaimana hubungan Molly dengan suaminya yang sudah meninggal, dimana sang suami cacat dan harus duduk di kursi roda. Anak merekapun diciptakan bukan melalui cara alami. Tetapi tetap putri mereka menjadi kegembiraan bagi suaminya. dan kerelaan hati Molly membantu wanita lain yang tidak mampu mengandung bayi mereka sendiri.
Memang cerita yang lain dari pada yang lain, dan layak untuk di nikmati.
