So, I clearly read this book in English but this is the only version I can find for it so here we go.
I’m sorry...what was all the angst about the “affair” that Danie had with Jonas’s ex-brother-in-law? We find out in the epilogue that Danie is apparently a 28-year-old virgin. Can you say you had an affair with a married man if you never slept with him or loved him nor him you? Isn’t that basically...a friendship? Spending time doing things like going to movies or dinner with someone you don’t have sex with or love romantically. That’s a friendship.
But this is a terrible book, not just because it was full of bs angst for an affair that never seemed to have actually happened, but also the lack of *anybody* speaking to one another fully and honestly. Oh, and the heroine interchangeably calling her father “Dad” or “Rome” —a nickname from his first name, Jerome that I’ve never experienced before—was weird. She’s supposed to be so close with her family but they all keep secrets from one another about pretty big things and she addresses her dad half the time by his first name instead of as her dad. Right. Super close family.
Lastly...the main couple knows one another for about two days time...and really only about 12 hours (being generous) in one another’s company...and they are declaring they are in love with one another. They don’t know the most mundane of things about one another, like if they are morning people, or how the other takes their coffee or if they even like coffee, or if they want kids, or how they handle money, or how they would handle travel and long distances...but they love each other after fighting twice and kissing once. Right.

Enjoyed the story very much. Jonas and Danie are a cute couple and I love the fact that Danie is a pilot. Danie had gone out with Ben (Jonas's brother in law) before she met Jonas. But, Ben was married and once Danie found out she broke up with him. Fast forward a few years and Jonas and Danie are falling in love and crap! Danie discovers Jonas's sister was Ben's wife (now ex-wife). Jonas is a doctor and he is seeing a member of the Danie's family. Jonas refuses to say who that is which worries Danie thinking that is her father
Wrong assumptions and fears get in the way. They get resolved nicely.
By the way, I have no doubt the next book will be about Andie's pregnancy. It hasn't been confirmed but since Jonas isn't Jerome's doctor who else is left but the one sister who has been 'sick' since the start of the series? I just hope the plot doesn't go the only way HQ deals with it: a forced marriage.

Boring.
And although the h didn’t have sex with the H’s brother in law, the fact that she once loved his brother in law makes it a bit repulsive for me. I assume they did kiss and stuff. Don’t keep it in the family.

I really got into this book. It has had good and not so good reviews, but I quite fell in love with the two main characters. An enjoyable story for me. It was first published in 2001. 4☆

Buku kedua dari serial Bachelor Sister. Buku yang jadi favorit saya dari 2 seri lainnya.
Berkisah tentang Danie si tomboi dan Jonas sang dokter. Saat pertama disuruh menjemput Jonas, Danie mengira dokter tampan ini bertugas untuk memeriksa kesehatan ayahnya. Padahal saat itu, Jonas ditugaskan untuk memeriksa keadaan Andie, adik Danie.
Seiring pertemuan-pertemuan yang terjadi, mereka pun saling jatuh cinta.
Berkisah tentang Danie si tomboi dan Jonas sang dokter. Saat pertama disuruh menjemput Jonas, Danie mengira dokter tampan ini bertugas untuk memeriksa kesehatan ayahnya. Padahal saat itu, Jonas ditugaskan untuk memeriksa keadaan Andie, adik Danie.

May 25, 2017A rich pilot like Danie should surely be able to afford a mobile phone? ! Why would they be still relying on the house phone to communicate and leave answering machine messages which they don't like to use?! Author is dated it seems...
The twist regarding Rome's health, Jonas' specialisation and who his sister was were quite well done. Created a bit of mystery and suspense so well done!
But couldn't Danie just do an internet search of "Jonas Noble"?! This book seemed more like it's written in the 80s pre-internet days!!
Again another whirlwind 7 days love story. But I liked the adversary to lvers trope.
