Loved all the techniques they showed and how it was explained, but the projects were sooo vintage! I'm not going to be ribbon embroidering a waistcoat or a christening ensemble any time soon! :P And also, some of the techniques on how to make roses (the spiderweb rose and the folded rose) were not explained but were used anyways in some of the projects. I know the spiderweb rose is super-easy, but I don't know how to make the folded one, and they're so pretty!!

It had some okay stitches. The projects were not my taste. I got more out of a Martha Stewart Living article.
