This book did not suit my needs as a rotating 3rd year medical student. Though the index and list of high yield topics to be covered was promising, the actual content that followed fell short. I’ve had great success with the Blueprints Series specialty books (OBGYN, Pediatrics). However, the family medicine installment of the series missed the mark by a massive degree and only really offers rudimentary review of common ailments seen in family practice.

Not exactly entertainment but good at what it does. Unlike the other blueprints series that I've seen this is written by chief complaint rather than by system. The format was very helpful for trying to work in family medicine and generate a differential based on presenting complaint (fatigue, cough, diarrhea, etc).

A great overview of common ailments seen in the clinic.

The storyline is captivating...not. I fell asleep daily while I tried to get through this.

title says it all. A quick summary of family medicine. I'm a fan of the series.
