Not a bad book, but the examples are spotty. If you don't have a solid understanding of PHP, I suspect it would be more than a little frustration to try and spot the small errors in the provided sample code. Additionally, this deals with a release that is somewhat out of date.

Errr, Pretty simple to understand, but the step-by-step section sometimes confuse my head, ahahah
