Very informative, good use of sources but kind of hard to keep track of all the moving pieces and major players as time went on would have benefited from an index

I was working on a research paper several years ago and my topic was about the rise of military adventurism and the series of military coup attempts that started on February 1986 all the way to 1990. It's a great source for those of you who are studying the history of the Philippine military.

This month, I think is dedicated to brushing up on military history, particularly the local strand in relation to all the other significant details in the sociopolitical arena of the Philippines. And this was second in line, coming off from the Spanish and American period histories of the Philippine Constabulary and the Army, as well as snippets of the Presidential Security Group.
