Still reading it but I can tell you that this book for me is one of the books you should start with as a primer to Hoodoo. He explains the use of the altars and the magics very well. In a way that is easy to do. I even found my own knuckle bones to start casting the bones. And using his method I started to cast the bones for myself and others at great proficiency. Using a simple method anyone can.
I also learned of oils and powders I had never heard of before. So all newbies and even some seasoned conjurors go here. A newbie would still need to learn more because his book is just a primer. It has a a lot of techniques and what not but it isn't a complete education either. But it will get you on your way.
I don't write reviews normally. But I saw few for this title. Brujeria has never been simpler to learn. There is very little depth into history, culture and etymology into the Lwa in this work, But if you take this up you must do your own research on these spirits and cross-check everything. I still rate this highly and recommend this to anyone looking to get in touch with ancestral work and necromancy. But once again read up more on the Lwa.
