Holy shit on a stick! That book was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! And I'm uber pissed because how can I review it without giving any and everything away?

This is in the POV of Master. We now know who he is......well, I do. Hopefully you haven't read spoiler reviews and know too! Don't let reviews ruin it for you! OMG. This controlling alpha clipped man is such a endearing, sexy, tortured soul beneath his alpha exterior. He need for control is a coping mechanism. He can't get close, he must stay in charge at al

Damn I love this series. Loved getting a different side of Mark. Crystal is perfect for him. Two control freaks, what an explosion! And she is definitely not a submissive. I know this is just a novella, but it was way too short to satisfy my Master craving. Specially when it ended so abruptly. Lisa Renee Jones I'm begging you, please make the continuation of Mark's story a whole book! Excellent short read, you will not be disappointed. Actually I haven't been disappointed by any of Lisa's books. ...more

“I’m supposed to be able to control my thoughts. I’m a Master. A title that defines who I am and how I stay grounded. My thumb is always on the pulse of everything that happens around me—or so I thought. For the first time since college, I’m not sure if that’s true. I’m not sure it was ever true, and I don’t know where that leaves me. I don’t know who that makes me.”

Reading this book had my jaw on the floor for more than one reason. Reason one: Mark is insanely hot and more damaged than it h

THIS WASN'T NEARLY ENOUGH!!! I WANT MORE!!!!!

Wow!!!!! Lisa Renee Jones sure knows how to create attraction, anticipation, and sexual tension. And it’s all packed into 40 pages! I think these are my most favorite 40 pages of anything I have ever read. I love this so much I really wish it was much much longer. I feel like Lisa Renee Jones is just teasing us with this little taste of the real Mark. Yes, we get to see some of the real Mark.

The Master Undone begins 24 hours after Mark discovers that

Holy hotness! Finally we get a bit of Mark. But not in the role of Master, but as a man that is craving a woman more than he is craving control. Everyone now knows the truth about Rebecca and now Mark is going to New York to spend time with his mother who has been diagnosed with Cancer. But while he is riddled with guilt he meets Crystal, newly employed by Ripti

Rebecca’s Master is actually unveiled in Being Me, part two of the Inside Out trilogy, but I’m going to err on the side of caution here and not actually name him. I know most of you probably know who he is but I’m just going to refer to him as ‘he’ just in case I actually spoil it for someone. I enjoyed the mystery and I want you all to enjoy it too.

So Rebecca’s Master is left reeling after the revelations at the end of Being me and has travelled to another city to be with his cancer stricken mo

THE MASTER UNDONE is the fifth novella in Lisa Renee Jones Inside Out Novellas and told from the ‘Masters’ POV. This storyline is not a retelling of any particular part of the series thus far, but is a story about what happens next after (The Master) discovers what has happened to his sub Rebecca.

It has been 24 hours since 'The Master' discovered that his current sub was responsible for the disappearance of Rebecca-a woman who wanted more from 'The Master' then he was willing or ready to give. B

5 Amazing Stars.......

I've said it once, and I will say it a million times......Lisa Renee Jones is an amazing writer. I have read several of her books and each one swallows me whole. I am instantly in the story and living the emotional ride that she offers in each one. There are twists that make you cry, your heart will race a million beats per minute, and there

Ms. Jones fans’ have been asking and waiting for this novella to come out. Though it was too damn short for my liking, Ms. Jones managed to again, capture my attention and again, managed to leave me with my jaw dropped to the floor with a teaser ending.

We knew, Mark Compton was going to get his own novella, and was it everything I expected? Yes! Mark is as hot as we have seen him from the previous books. However, this book differs as we get his darkest thoughts via his POV. He recently

Since meeting Mark in If I Were You (Inside Out #1) I wanted to know more about him. And even though we got to know him slightly better in Being Me (Inside Out #2), it was still not enough to quench my curiosity.

A warning: While this book is in Mark’s POV, the circumstances in the story occur after Being Me, so you would have to read that first to avoid spoilers.

Mark is on his way to New York to check on his mother who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. And while that torments him, he is

I didn't care for Mark Compton in If I Were You. He grew on me a bit in Being Me. By the end of The Master Undone, I wanted in his bed. That's right, ladies. Another book boyfriend to add to our ever growing lists!

In this novella, we get a glimpse into Rebecca's Master. But it's not really the Master side of Mark we get to see. Crystal makes Mark throw caution to the wind, and he doesn't appreciate it...

I absolutely loved The Master Undone! The Master Undone picks up after the end of Being Me. I was always drawn to Mark and we finally get to see a very different side to him. I loved being inside his head and learning his thought processes and getting some hints to the many secrets he keeps. He is drowning in guilt over Rebecca and he's lost that control that has always seemed to be suc

This was a good quick read.
We know Mark's previous books as arrogant and overbearing man. In this book, we see a new side of him. And I like that.

I trust this woman more than I trust myself right now. And that scares me in a way I haven’t been scared in a very long time.

Crystal is a very direct person and Mark is continuously surprises by this.

The Master Undone brings us the guy's point of view. I do advise reading the previous books before reading this one to avoid confusion and for a better reading experience in all. This short snippet gives great insight and packs quite the enjoyable read into few pages.

Mark Compton is fighting for control of the life that seems to be spinning. He's left to deal with Rebecca's death and the guilt he feels for having a part in it. His mother is battling cancer and Mark is doing everything he can to

Honestly, I didn’t care too much for Mark from the previous books. Going in I really thought ok let’s see what the Master has to say! Nevertheless, when I tell you within this short novella Mark changed my mind about him within the first couple of pages and I wanted more.

We find out who the man is behind the mask, who is someone who is just broken and doesn’t think he deserves to be loved or can even love someone the way they needs to be loved. There are some snippets here and there, about what

I surprisingly liked getting Mark's POV. Although I just wanted the series to centre around Chris and Sara (mostly Chris), I can see why this installment was necessary. It completely humanized Mark. I got to see his love for family, his strength, his dominance, his love for Rebecca (though it wasn't thorough or detailed), and even hints of his vulnerability.

While I'm not that interested or invested in a story around Mark and Crystal, I can understand its appeal and appreciate his perspective.

The four novellas: Rebeccas's Journals have actually been my favorite part of the Inside Out trilogy/series. So I was really looking forward to this novella, The Master Undone. I think there may have been squeeing and bouncing going on, when I got it. Okay, there totally was. I was excited.

So, I pretty much lust after the Inside Out series. Lisa Renee Jones totally sucked me in and I've been loving it. I so did some fan girl squealing when I saw that The Master Undone was going to be told from Mark's point of view. (and gah! total covergasm) Yes, yes. I know. Everyone loves Chris--the main hero so far in the series--and I'll admit he's got some awesome going on but Mark? Yeaaah, it turns out... I'm a bit of a twisted bitch because Mark, dear lord, he so does it for me. I

Braine's Talk Supe review

I've never been fond of The Master in and out of the BDSM scene especially after I read about him in Rebecca's Lost Journals. He takes ownership seriously and frankly, he gives me the heebies. I mean I know he's not bad but the way I imagine him is he's this larger than life person, the air around him crackles with dominance, giving him an air of invincibility and self- importance. And that to me is just plain horse manure. I like cocky not arrogant, there's a fine lin

Awesome unraveling of a master…

This novella occurs right after Being Me ends and contains spoilers for that book. Do not read out of series order.

Mark is reeling from the loss of Rebecca and suffers tremendous guilt about what happened to her. He is trying to regain control of himself when he is called to NYC to deal with a family health crisis and there he meets Crystal, the newest employee of Riptide. She’s unlike any woman he’s ever known and she gets to him and tests his control which begins
