[Reading Rachel]

Why was this so good ! I never thought this little book would break my heart. An ingenious escape but it's the true love story that broke me.

[Abigail Smith]

A quick fascinating read, it kept my attention very well.

[Sherri Anderson]

The book had great old photographs though most had nothing to do with the story. The escape though daring at the time I suppose is not the most incredible story I have ever read in any war. Kind of disappointing as I expected so much more.

[Zinger]

Brief information on General John Hunt Morgan's activities during the Civil War, his capture and detainment at the Union prison in Columbus, Ohio. Describes how he and a handful of his fellow Confederates came up with the plan and carried out their prison escape.
