Tim has been a featured guest on radio and television programs such as Dayside on FOX News channel, Dr. James Dobson's 'Focus on the Family', 'The 700 Club', Moody Broadcasting's 'Midday Connection', and 'Family Life Today.' Tim also hosted his own nationally syndicated talk show for five years called 'Tim Kimmel Live'.

Home Grown Heroes is filled with many different inspiring stories that teach great lessons. Probably one of the most memorable quotes for me was “You may not have time to do it right, but you’ll have to take the time to do it over.”

Chapter 7 "The Friend Called Fear" gave me food for thought. Here are some takeaways from that chapter:
It takes a greater fear to cast out a lesser fear.
Make fear your friend or it could become your enemy.
Those who are willing to risk fearing are those least likely to fear risking.
