I liked this book because it was very interesting

Had to read the second adventure of Al right away after finishing the first, more out of curiosity than anything else- but so glad I did. I liked this book so much better than the other, a real mystery set in a home for elderly people, spiced up with the funny language from the first book. Somehow it felt that the author had really found Al's voice and story here (there had been something missing for me in the first adventure, can't really tell what). Sweet, short & silly. Will likely appeal to more reluctant readers due to the quick pace and fun illustrations which keep the story flowing. Also contains a great message about older people!
